I recently visited Shea's Lansdowne Street for lunch, hoping to find some great wings, and I was not disappointed. The wings were fantastic—cooked with a flavorful dry rub, they were large and meaty.
One thing that stood out to me was the cleanliness of the restaurant. When I arrived, I saw the manager outside washing down the exterior, which is always a good sign. Inside, the atmosphere was inviting and well-kept, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.
I received excellent service from Sophie, which added to the overall great experience. While I only tried their wings this time, I’m definitely planning to return to explore more of their menu in the future.
We went to Shea’s for the first time last week. I had a great sandwich that was very fresh and reasonably priced. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I will certainly return and try some of their other menu items in the future. My only negative comment is the recommended tips listed on the credit card reader. We are all seeing this during our purchases but it continues to be excessive. 20% 25% 30% displayed on the device. What ever happened to 15% or 18%? I chose “other”.

Food was delicious but service was not great. Servers and food runners were rude and dry. Service was very slow and inattentive. Food took a while to come out for just chicken tenders and a sandwich. Food was still great but it was a disappointing experience overall.

Great place! Love the service and the environment. They have a great happy hour and music most days too! The only thing I would recommend is for the team to do a Guiness training for pouring and serving Guiness. Guiness is special don’t treat it like other beers. ; )

Always a great experience. Love the selection of Irish beers and the chefs salads are humongous. Nice atmosphere and live music some nights. Nice place for casual dining.

Such a great spot. Food is always spot on. You can’t go wrong no matter what you order. The New England Clam, Commonwealth and Revolution are my favorites. The wait staff treats everyone like regulars and I love that! You walk in and seat yourself which I also love. I love that it’s Boston inspired even though I’m not from Boston the food is so good!! Just a really cool place to eat.

Walked in and the establishment was 80% empty. It’s “seat yourself” so we did even though we didn’t see any waitresses around. We finally saw a waitress that was walking on the other side and figured she’d come over soon. 5 more minutes passed and we saw another employee who made eye contact but didn’t acknowledge us at all. We were starving and with no menus to even decide what we would order, we figured these people weren’t in the mood to serve. Very un inviting attitude overall. . Walked into the ale house next door and in the time we waited around to be acknowledged, we were seated and had drinks and entered ordered.
The trivia quizz is great here, with a great atmosphere and service too!
