Stopped in On Saturday morning with my wife. Was looking for a good cinnamon roll. They have great cinnamon rolls, and so much more! I was happy to find fresh baked breads, cookies, pastries, and many other goodies! Everything was delicious and very well priced. Instantly became a regular weekend stop for me! Really much to be desired. It's my first time here. I wanted to give my mom (Venezuelan, an older lady) a treat to eat BREAKFAST and I took her to this Venezuelan bakery thinking it would be nice and friendly and timely for breakfast it was 11:46 and they had an Arepas happy hour!!!! It looked like a good deal. And when he came to the checkout to order and I asked for the order they told me that it starts at 12:pm I told him that it is 11:45 and I told him that if he was going to make me wait 15 minutes to order. And he told me ok that's fine and when the order arrived it was not what I ordered. They literally lied to me and when I went to complain they told me what time I placed the order. Since it was before 12, they didn't give me the offer. For 15 minutes it seems totally absurd to me. It's a Bakery, it's not NASA. In short, it is very sad that when one goes to visit a place where one identifies with their land, and gives it support, they lie to us and do whatever they want. Such a big disappointment. First and last.!!!!
Even worse.
1. You don't lie to your customers saying there is no problem and you take the order and then they make the ones that suit them.
2. You and your employee did not take the trouble to explain that the computer did NOT allow you to place the order until 12:pm And yet your employee took the order and that's it. I thanked him and then ordered a ham bun. He didn't come up to me afterwards to explain anything to me. I don't care about soda or arepa, it's lies and lack of respect.
3. And being the owner, you did not at any time offer a possible solution, nor an apology for the misunderstanding.
Customer service in this country is very important.
And I think anyone else would have been rightly upset by the Lie.
I suggest that you place your happy hour sign at 12pm so that your potential new customers can understand and not have to have a hard time.
And the rest of your comments are off base. I am who I am and I respect and admire all Latinos who work hard and are HONEST in this country and anywhere else in the world.
And I hope you are humble enough to accept the mistake. And correct it because we learn from mistakes.

Out of all the coffee places in the area with high reviews, this is the only one so far that has come close to meeting expectations. Decent coffee, well prepared, milk steamed to good temperature instead of scalded into watery oblivion. The Tres leches was also surprisingly good and not overly sweet. The service was friendly and prompt.
