Service was fast courteous and efficient. The table is nicely set but not cluttered . The staff knows the menu and makes suggestions. I got the lobster special on Sunday dinner $42.99. It was very good. Corn is special not plain(very sweet and fresh). Lobster was excellent prepared well and plentiful. Bread is warm sourdough. Highly recommend.
The food was pretty good, I can’t remember what my family had because I was attacking a lobster. The lobster was absolutely delicious, though I traumatized my friend eating it. Her shrimp was a little chewy. The server was great, though the costumers were a bit judgmental… however it did not ruin our experience because it was quite entertaining to see their reactions to my friend loosing her water through her mouth in a spectacular fountain manner.
My daughter and I love Swan River. We had 1/2 dozen raw oysters and middle neck clams. Fresh and great. I had the lobster special and she had the fried fisherman's platter. Both dinners were delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend the carrot cake and the flourless chocolate cake for dessert (which we took to go). We've eaten there many times and never disappointed!
