Nice lobby restaurant at Naples Grande Beach resort. Food was decent, moderately priced. My blackened mahi was not blackened at all but still good. Casual resort attire, moderate noise level due to children. Great if you don't want to leave the resort.
Great restaurant! The food and server were amazing too. The chef even came out to answer a question and made a dinner that wasn't on the menu :)!
We decided to stay and eat, on property, the night before a long fishing day. This is located right in the lobby and was dead at 7:30 pm on a Friday night. We were 1 of 4 tables. The server, Isabella, was very friendly and attentive. We started with the calamari. It was delicious and the oil used was clean. My son devoured most of it, but I was able to confirm it was great before it was all gone. We also had the burrata and watermelon salad. This could have been a meal. It was huge and fresh. We all liked this. For dinner we got the tuna tartare stack. It was almost very good but was very avocado heavy. I wish it had more tuna to avocado ratio. Again, a great portion. The less impressive part was the grouper. It was very overcooked. The flavors of the dish were all there but the portion and overall presentation of the dish didn't align with the price tag- by any stretch. I would have preferred a separate space to dine, with the lobby more secluded where the ambiance could be more unique from the rest of the hotel. I would return and get more small plates, salads and appetizers.
Food was so good. Had the Seabass special and it was the best I have had. Chef came out to ask about our meal which was a special touch. I highly recommend this restaurant. Service was also exceptional. Highest rating.
The Catch of the Pelican at the Naples Grande Beach Resort absolutely lives up to its reputation. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and inviting, with a coastal elegance that immediately makes you feel like you're in the heart of true Naples luxury. The service was top-notch—attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely welcoming. The seafood was outstanding—fresh, expertly prepared, and plated beautifully. The steaks were just as impressive, cooked perfectly to order and packed with flavor.
We went here for the amazing gluten-free crabcakes only to find out Chef Fabian is no longer there. The crabcakes are now half the size, and and they have breadcrumbs in them. Tasty, but I can't eat them. The sunset was lovely, and the lights at dark made it a pretty setting.
Very disappointed!!!! Food overpriced for taste ! Service was terrible! No bread brought over! He really didn't check on us for drinks and water and we waited for a long time! Everyone around us were served dinner before us . When we asked why they said it was because they put sauce in my steak ! He also was trying to get us to add onto our meals for a up charge.
The food was amazing!!! We ordered the dynamite shrimp appetizer, the Florida snapper and the filet! Everything was so delicious! We were celebrating our anniversary and they served an amazing citrus bar for dessert with a happy anniversary chocolate on it! What a nice touch!! Sara made the night amazing and Sara was so attentive and caring with our dinner. We had such an enjoyable night! Thank you so much!!!
The restaurant personnel were wonderful, each and every one of them professional and friendly. Unfortunately, the kitchen was a disaster. The lobster reuben was an unholy mess with tough lobster and Swiss cheeses congealed together as a single entity rather than one component of melted cheese sitting on a separate component of fresh lobster meat. The toast that held it together was burned and had to be set aside as unfit for consumption. The branzino tasted to be of frozen texture and seemed to lack any seasoning or flavor. As desperate as we were to get the taste of the meal out of our mouths, we had no confidence that the desserts would be any improvement. I actually felt sorry for our amazing waiter, Adrian.
A wonderful dining experience in a beautiful environment. Adrien was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly (and engaging). I will be back, especially now that season is almost over. A wonderful place to dine before going to the theater.

I am executive chef and the food here was wonderful. The salmon and steaks were cooked perfectly and everything was amazing including our server whose name I can't remember I apologize. Definitely will eat there again when we come back. Thank you
We were "wowed" by the whole Naples Grande and Catch of the Pelican dining experience. We ate outside were comfortable overlooking the beautiful pools and watching the sun set in the West. The staff was most friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic. The highlight of our evening was our waiter, Austin. He walked up to greet us with a huge smile on his face and that smile never faded the entire evening. It was such a joy to be in his presence. He took exceptional care of us and made my 85 year old mother's birthday extra special. We will return and make sure to ask for Austin for another special experience.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the service and food were good, but the portions were disappointing for the price. Overall it was and okay experience.

My friend and I ate here for dinner, and our server Erica was amazingly attentive to our special requests and extra vigilant to ensure we got exactly what we wanted! The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and extraordinarily delicious! 10/10 recommend!

The food was very good. One of the top meals we've had since we arrived in Naples four months ago. We have visited many what were purported to be fine dining establishments here in Naples which turned out to be subpar in their execution of sauces, flavour combinations, and produced desserts which tasted purchased from a grocery store. In contrast, our meal at The Catch of the Pelican was spot on from appetizers to dessert. We took advantage of the Sizzle prefix dining menu and enjoyed our meal immensely. Everything tasted delicious and appeared to have been made in house. Our waiter, although busy, was engaging and attentive. We will definitely return.
