Smashed hamburger was very good. Shrimp tacos were very good. Mushroom truffle pizza was not worth the price. Restaurant imposes an 18% automatic gratuity on all tabs. I am a 20% tipper for good service, so not a big deal b/c I added the difference to get to roughly 20% for the server. But, not a fan of imposed gratuity across the board for smaller parties (less than 6). Sometimes the service or experience may not be worth 18% and gratuity should be at the discretion of the party...
Everything was delicious!! So many good options. We got apps and zero-proof drinks and then really great entrees and dessert. We had a big party and I tasted a little bit of everything and it was all tasty. Wish we lived here so we could come back.
I visited Hampton Social for my birthday and was honestly a bit disappointed. Our waiter was overly talkative, which made the experience feel less personal and more intrusive. Despite it being a special occasion, there was no acknowledgment of my birthday at all—even though it was noted in the reservation. The food was just okay. I wouldn't recommend the crab and shrimp bruschetta—it had an overpowering lemon flavor that didn't blend well with the seafood. Overall,...
