The Pewter Mug North

We All love our meals, especially the prime rib and salad bar. We had some first time people with us and they have now added the Pewter Mug to their restaurant list favorites.

Food at Pewter Mug is always fantastic! Amazing salad bar and quick service! One of our fave places!

Not our first visit; maybe 4th. Don't remember this problem in the past. Don't confuse this with fine dining. It is a nice friendly experience of decent food combined with a large salad bar. Key word is friendly; seems to be a real favorite of locals. I was not unhappy about any portion of the meal, but it was COLD where we were sitting in booths opposite the salad plate cooler, to be specific. SO cold my wife left the meal early to warm up outside; I was 'chilly' but what spoiled my evening was the cold air chilling my hot food so rapidly that I felt like I had to eat fast before it was cold too. So, net, we felt very rushed as a result. Otherwise satisfactory, except noisy in a busy environment.

Second time here and was happy both visits. My end cut prime rib was tender and juicy, ( not typical of end cuts). Salad bar was fresh and well stocked. Italian wedding soup was delicious. Service was good as well. My favorite place for prime rib, though my dinner companion had the pork chop that looked fabulous and probably will be my next choice.

As always my wife and I enjoyed everything. The employes are great, the food is great and that's why we have been going for many years. Thank you Pewter Mug see you soon.

Out of ribs again!!! Maybe eliminate early bird to prevent that from happening. Salad bar still very good.

Disappointing. Salad Bar acceptable but prime rib was not. It was way undercooked and sent back twice. So tough and sinewy we could not cut with the provided steak knife. Ambiance was extremely noisy. Couldn't converse with my guest. Overall a poor experience. Can't recommend.

My friend's filet undercooked my prime rib mushi and undercooked and fatty. My wife's prime rib was dried out and not very good either.
Our waitress was very good Simone.

Have never eaten at Pewter Mug and found it better than great! Had 6:00 reservations, a full entry of patrons but we were promptly seated at 6. Waitress was so pleasant and efficient in spite of having several large tables. The prime rib melted in your mouth. It will not be our last visit!

Besides the fact that I had a 5:45 reservation and had to wait more than 20 minutes to be seated and the hostess couldn't tell me how long of a wait it was, the food was good and our server Missy was amazing. Would I go back .... I'm not sure.

Have not been here in several years. I forgot how fabulous it was. Had the amazing prime rib. Best I ever had. Salad bar and soups as well as fresh bread and cheese were awesome. Service was amazing. I'm still dreaming of that prime rib and can't wait to return. The location was great and restaurant were perfect, clean and well decorated. Four of us went and we all had the prime rib, even an end cut, all delicious.

The martini was one of the best I've ever had. Prime rib was good. The key lime pie was the best I've ever had. It's not a particularly engaging environment, kind of run of the mill, but the food was very good.

Another great meal at The Pewter Mug. The salad bar is by far the best around. Our table ordered prime rib, New York strip, and a ribeye, and everyone loved their dinner. I had the steak sandwich (my go to meal here!) and it was delicious as always. We just love coming to The Pewter Mug and can't wait until our next visit!

My filet was done to perfection. Exactly as I ordered. It was delicious. He had the Beef Stroganoff and said it was delicious, too. The salad bar and breads and soups are always excellent. I had the Tomato Basil Soup and it was yummy!
