I am visiting my folks here in the Naples area of Florida for a while. My father went shopping on Yelp and said we should try this restaurant so we made it yesterday for lunch. It was a lovely day so we sat outside on the patio with the dog. We were seated right away and began taking in our food options on the menu. There were so many choices and a crazy amount of unique items/food combinations you just don't see anywhere! There were so many temptations but I stuck with a low carb omelet and a fruit cup. The flavor of the caramelized onions and mushrooms was amazing and the texture of the eggs were smooth and silky. I think they call the style of eggs - "French eggs". My husband had an omelet also with cheese and bacon and the meal comes with a "tater tot". The tater tot was muffin sized and crunchily yummy. The bacon brand is named on the menu (I can't recall) but it was thicker than most and scrumptious. Their biscuits get a lot of compliment so he had one of those and really enjoyed the flavor and texture. My parents both had the Huevos Rancheros which included chorizo which I have never seen before. When their plates arrived we were surprised by the corn tortillas on the bottom - they were gloriously crisp! The presentation was just perfect! They dug in and they were both so pleased. My 94 year old Dad has eaten many Huevos Rancheros meals in many states including New Mexico. He thinks that might have been the best of the best! It has already been decided he will come back and have it again. We saw many dishes come out that looked crazy good. We talked to a couple of people about what they ordered and one was the grouper which was breaded corn flakes and almonds etc. The gal we spoke with said it is to die for and she gets every time. Apparently they also have some unusual grits dishes and unique waffles and pancakes. Check them out!

Beware! We recently had the worst breakfast ever at the Rooster. My eggs Benedict was salty with sliced ham that was full of fat & undercooked. The hash browns were not any better. My husband's traditional breakfast was so salty it gave him a headache. And we paid more than $60 for this! We will never go back! There are great restaurants in Naples! This is not one of them! I would have complained at the restaurant, but my husband did not want a scene.

Nice spot for bfast. Home made and reasonable. Bit pricey and you'll have to wait.

Had the fried chicken and waffles. It was big on flavor and size. The dish consisted of two large pieces of crispy, tender chicken with peppery syrup. The waffles had a soft, cake-like texture and real maple syrup. The server proudly said that the food was homemade, and the service was professional and quick. We will be back!

The food was outstanding. I enjoyed the crab cake Benedict with hash browns, which was absolutely exceptional. The coffee was also excellent. I decided to try the hummingbird cake, which was a large portion and incredibly tasty. Sam, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided great service. The ambiance was relaxing, especially while sitting outside, which felt very welcoming.

The Rooster in Naples is an absolute GEM, worth every mile of the two-hour drive for us. Naples being a good midway point between Fort Lauderdale and Sarasota to meet with family while we’re in town, The Rooster was decided upon after a quick search, and we’ve been singing praises since. We tried both the Chef’s specials on the menu yesterday, and each dish was a masterpiece in its own right. Fresh and flavorful, it’s beyond evident that the dishes are crafted with much expertise and thought. The makeup of the place also is charming and cozy, perfectly complementing the culinary experience. But it's not just the food and ambiance that make The Rooster stand out — it's the exceptional service. The staff welcomes you with all smiles and we felt attended to throughout our meal, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to an already incredible experience. So, if you’re anywhere close to Naples, look no further than The Rooster. This precious eatery has secured a place in our hearts, and we’re sure to return next time we’re in town.

We waited outside for an available table, but no one minded! Weather was so beautiful we sat and happily chatted. Then we went inside where I ate a delicious crab cake Benedict. Can't wait to go back!
