This is some really off the charts Thai food. I like to order the Pad Thai from a place, it’s a staple and sort gives me an indication of where they stand. It was excellent, full of deep flavor, highlighting fresh veggies and protein. Service was subtle, they didn’t rush us out even though they closed to prep for dinner service. Amazing job gang, this place is special.

Food is amazing !!! Love it
Thai food and other specialties. I wanted to try Tong Yin. I have heard good things and I like their sister restaurant, Itchi Torigashi on 8th St S.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the outstanding food plus perfect service.
Be adventurous if you have a narrow pallet and you'll be pleased.

What a fantastic little restaurant. Our meal was 10/10, the service was beyond wonderful, and this tiny restaurant is filled with charm. Everything we ordered was unique and amazing down to the beautiful plates it was all served on. Our server and the restaurant staff were so polite and accommodating. Their suggestions were spot on and they go out of their way to make everyone comfortable in their cozy dining area. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable experience.

Our first time here! The food was INCREDIBLE!!! And very reasonably priced. We got three apps, two seafood entrees, two drinks, and a dessert for under $200.00. Service was slow to start because there was only one server on, but the place is small so they were able to catch up. The restaurant itself is beautiful and warm and inviting. Medium spice level is no joke, be warned! Mild spice level was much more tolerable for us :)
Really good thai food. Came here for lunch and the food was amazing.

This was a truly gem of a find, some of the best food My fiancé and I have had in our lives! Every dish was packed with beautiful complex layers of flavor. It was so good in fact, that we ended up coming back a second time in our trip. If you're in the area, this is a must stop. We ate at some of the more fine restaurants in the area, and this was our favorite by a longshot. The staff are extremely friendly. The service is excellent and they are more than accommodating. My fiancé doesn't handle spice too well and they were happy to help and even Separate a side of spiced oil for me when sharing apatizers with my fiancé. I highly recommend getting their chilled jasmine tea to accompany any spicy dish. It is a welcome refreshment, and is simply outstanding. Lastly, I must say, hats off to the chef, they are truly a master of their craft, The food was pefectly balanced, simply delicious and beautiful. Thank you for such a great experience TONG YIN on ninth street! I truly wish you much success and growth, this resturant deserves it, I will be back soon!

We have been to Tong Yin a few times. Decided to take friends who loved the restaurant. Food is so fresh and ambiance is charming.
I celebrated a friend's birthday there. The service was very good. I enjoyed the Chicken Pad Thai. I enjoyed the evening.

It's a charming little restaurant just across the street from NCH Hospital. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a pleasant spot for a casual meal. I decided to try the Pad Thai, which, overall, was flavorful and well-seasoned. However, I found the meat to be a bit overcooked, resulting in a slightly tough texture. On the positive side, the noodles were exceptional—perfectly chewy and coated in a rich sauce that balanced sweetness and savory notes beautifully. One aspect that left me wanting more was the presentation of the dish. It arrived with just the entrée and a sparse sprinkle of garnish, without any additional sides. For a lunch plate, I expected a more complete meal, accompanied by a warm bowl of soup or a fresh spring roll, which are often customary in this type of cuisine. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, a more rounded offering would have enhanced the experience significantly.
The food was good, but unfortunately ended up with raw chicken and one dish and the hair in another dish. The restaurant comped the meals and gave us free dessert, which was nice, but the experience was kind of ruined.
