We waited forever for our food while all about us people who walked in later got served earlier. Food was obviously set aside on a warmer and we only got served after complaining. What gives? They seem to cater only to people they know. I suggest not going there unless you want to have a very long wait for mediocre warmed up food.

This restaurant is a little gem, just off US41. Great parking directly outside and a very warm welcome from the young lady at the reception who escorted us to our table. The restaurant has a nice, comfortable atmosphere, tastefully decorated and the menu was nicely varied without being complicated. Our waiter was excellent, friendly and engaging and explained the menu and specials. He was attentive without being overbearing and the meal was delicious. The seafood white wine pasta was exceptional as was the fried liver with mash potatoes and crisp green beans. We will definitely be returning and would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Thank you.

Such a great place to go for breakfast and lunch ! Absolutely loved it and the waitress were both amazing. Yleana and the gentleman was so welcoming and kind and made sure are food was good and coffee. I can keep writing lol But I definitely recommend this place. It’s so beautiful and clean.

Trail Cafe and Grill is a favorite dinner choice for my husband and me, as well as when family members and friends are visiting. There is a wide selection of entrees; seafood is excellent (almost always my choice): scallops with risotto and salmon (my favorite) are two recent choices. For appetizers my husband always orders clam chowder which he says is wonderful. Service is professional, friendly and unhurried; in fact the wait staff are some of the best we've experienced. Trail Cafe's decor is more like a neighborhood-type restaurant; they serve breakfast and lunch as well as dinner. Friends love it for breakfast and lunch, as do we, but dinner is now my favorite choice. You can't go wrong with the food and service!

This place must have changed hands? Up until our last couple of visits ( in early 2025, their breakfast and lunch food and service was terrific. Lately, favorites on the menu are missing ( Florentine Omelet ) and key ingredients ( Green Onions ) no longer available. wait staff says new chef. Maybe new ownership cutting costs. Anyway, it’s off our list until we here it’s back to it’s old standard.

Trail Cafe is a delightfully delicious experience tucked into an unremarkable location. We’ve dined here multiple times and never been disappointed. Pan seared Branzino is one of our favorites. Sauces are outstanding, salad components are so fresh and served with warm baguette slices. The menu is selective, in a good way, allowing chefs to concentrate on their specialities. Highly recommend.

Hollandaise sauce was lumpy, sour, cold and inedible. I never send food back… but this was basically inedible. They should be ashamed of themselves for even serving it!!!
