I went and ordered two smoothies, a mango magic and a blimey limey. I paid sat down and by the time we had started to talk our order was done. The portions were also large, much larger than I expected. Fast service and large portions, I'm happy, haha. I didn't order food, just smoothies.

We were at Tropical Smoothie on Tuesday of this week and we always get a side of flat bread with our smoothie. The manager told the cashier we’d have to pay for a full sandwich. We come here all of the time and it’s never a problem here and at other locations to order a side of bread (way less than a $8+ sandwich). There was no concern or care. This happened one other time as well. We love this place and would love to give it a great review but the customer service today was terrible.

I often order to go from here because the place always smells like sewage. Been going here for over a year and it consistently smells awful. No desire to dine in with those conditions. The service is a hit or miss depending who is working. Sometimes they ignore you and sometimes they are wonderful. About 6 months I came in and someone had taken my pre-ordered smoothies. The cashier argued with me saying that she had no proof that it happened. I assured her I had proof of my purchase and she could check cameras or do whatever she needs to assure her that I just walked in. Someone came from the back and told her to remake them for me. At this point, I’ve been there for about 20 minutes. Then they proceeded to make me the wrong smoothies. The smoothies were supposed to be red-pink but they were dark brown and the labels weren’t mine. I believe they were made with peanut butter. I pointed out this and they then proceeded to make them again and another staff member told me they were out of some ingredients which explains why I ended up throwing them away because they were basically water and banana. (We ordered pomegranate plunge). The whole experience took 40 minutes for nothing and there wasn’t a line. My biggest complaint is their smoothies just aren’t as good as other locations. I don’t know if they’re cutting ingredients or what but the smoothies don’t have as much flavor. I’ve been to three other locations and I usually get the same thing. So I know that there’s no consistency with this store and the others. I continuously come here because it is close to my work but every time I regret not going out of my way to go to a better location. Hopefully they find some consistency because after todays watery smoothie, I will not be returning.

My family and I were taking a road trip and we decided to stop and get tropical smoothie. When we went to the drive thru we told the lady we’ll take a few minutes to look at the menu. She huffed and puffed over the mic and was extremely rude. As we began to order she stayed quiet on the mic that I had to check in and say “hello” to ensure someone was taking my order.. she said “I’m here listening to your order”. Each time I said my selection she would say “are you done” and even said “come to the window when I wasn’t done ordering” because of her rushing us our order was missing a few things. So they charge me for the missing apple from my order. We ordered four smoothies and no straws were given to us and I noticed I was missing something else. I went inside to ask for the missing chips and a gentleman began to assist me. The older lady that “assisted” us earlier asked him what was I saying and began to say it was my fault because she repeated the order to me and was argumentative. I dismissed her and told her I don’t care I just wanted my chips so I can go. I would’ve took my business somewhere else had I known we would’ve been treated so poorly.

It is very disheartening to see a bunch of people chatting in the back and not taking my order. They didn't even make eye contact and say something for the wait or anything. To add insult to injury, the back of their shirt says "You're on Tropoc time now" which if you aren't visiting on a timed lunch break might be ok.

I went here after a long shift at my work about 45 minutes until they closed. All I wanted was a cookie and a smoothie. As soon as I walked in, I heard a girl from behind the glass, where they make the smoothies, yell out “oh my god! Does no one have common since and realize that we close in 10 minutes?!” As a nurse, I understand that dealing with people might get a bit irritating. But please, be nice and if you are going to talk about customers at least don’t be so loud. I know she was looking to see if I heard her because she kept looking up at me. I only ended up getting a cookie because I was scared of her doing something to my drink.
