We love tropical smoothie but the service is poor at this location. 11/21 @1850 pickup order.

1. paid for bacon on wrap. There was no bacon
2. Jerk chicken wrap was cold to the touch in the wrapper.
3. sweet potatoes were prepared for someone else on 11/17 with a beyond use date of yesterday 11/20 (I know this because the sticker with the previous persons name is still on the top)
4. flatbread had bacon and tomato not inside the sandwich but outside wrapped around it like they couldnt have bothered putting it inside.

With a closing time of 2100 there should be no reason for lazy service at 1800.

The two ladies working need a peptalk. There were no other customers and they made the choice to short cut a simple order.

Horrible customer service. Stop there this morning to grab my breakfast for work and both girls that was working. I told them good morning and no one answered so I said you guys are having a bad morning. Good morning again no one answer they just laughed. I guess because I’m a black woman won’t be going back!!!

I’m a local that lives very close to tropical smoothie and I do stop in here for lunch at times never had this experience prior, I came in for lunch and was greeted by a young lady seems to go by jj as printed on my receipt after my purchase. To say the very least, this lady is awfully rude and definitely should not be working in customer service with that attitude. Hopefully the owner does not overlook these reviews as I’m certain it wouldn’t be the last. This can definitely can impact a business, and not in a good way. Terrible service.

The reviews on yelp are vastly different than the reviews on google maps for the same Tropical Smoothie Location. There is a blonde woman who works here, who has multiple negative reviews on yelp. She is incredibly “cold” (racist, dishonest) and as another review said on yelp- seems extremely unhappy to be working there. I went in with the guy I was dating. She said literally today at 1:00PM she is better, because she is white. I don’t think these things at all. And it has now caused a huge drift in the relationship with the person I was dating, whom picked up the smoothies today. A man came in afterwards to say, not better because white for anyone - she was hiding in the back. Her manager refuses to take the comments seriously, and she works with predominantly people of color, younger than her - influencing them to laugh at such topics. Please review the camera today.

My family and I truly enjoy your food and continue to order regularly, but unfortunately, EVERY SINGLE ORDER we place from this location has arrived incomplete.

Because the delivery service only provides access to this specific store, we have no alternative location to order from. While the delivery service (DoorDash) has credited me for the missing items, it is frustrating to have to go through this process every single time we order from this store.

Below are a few recent examples:
September 27 – side item missing
September 13 – side item missing
August 24 – one of the main course items missing
August 21 – side item missing
July 5 – side item missing

As you can see, the issue occurs frequently and most often involves side items not being included. While we appreciate the quality of your food, the repeated mistakes are frustrating and diminish the overall experience.

Rude from the jump.
We greeted her, nothing.l back. I was pleasant said thank you when handdd my food. Nothing.
We needed more than the 20 seconds he apparently thought you need to know what you want to order.
Pissy attitude, pissy look on her face.
If you don’t like customer service that much, get a different job. I’m not one to tell women to “smile” but like girl just don’t act like you hate people. Customer service is MY job I know it’s hard but dang.
Then my wrap literally busted open before I picked it up.
We don’t live here, but wow if I did….i wouldn’t be coming back.

I have to say, I had a five-star smoothie today. I mobile-ordered it and it came out on time. And it was blended perfectly. This is in stark contrast to the smoothie I had the other day at their collier blvd location. That one was two stars at best. Good job tamiami location!
