We always loved Two Fillets but when they closed it and changed it to Caiman Cantina we thought we would give it a chance. Well we did and we both agreed we will not do it again as it doesn't fit our taste buds and expectations for the price. The pros are the staff was very attentive. You could tell the waiter was somewhat new but he tried and was very attentive. The chip salsa had a very unique smoky taste and was good. We thought it would be a great experience but then...
The food was excellent. Great selection and fresh fish. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The chef was veery accommodating. I requested a slight modification to a menu item and the chef made the changes for me. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Always a "five" star rating!!!
I had ordered the Mahi mahi and it was very dry. I didn't care for the mush that it was served with either. My husband had the fillet which he liked. We shared some apple dessert which was just ok. I wouldn't order it again.
