After arriving in Naples on Sunday, we eased into town in the best possible way: an alfresco dinner at Veranda E at Hotel Escalante. In a destination where many restaurants trade heavily on hype—sometimes at the expense of food or service—Veranda E sets a notably higher standard and delivers on every level. We began with Kung Pao calamari, perfectly crisp with just enough heat to keep things interesting, followed by Osetra caviar perched atop pavé potatoes—rich, indulgent, and utterly sinful in the best sense of the word. From there, the evening only improved. The steaks were exceptional: a prime filet and a grass-fed Australian ribeye (my personal favorite cut), each cooked beautifully and served alongside asparagus and mashed potatoes. A simple description hardly does them justice—these were steaks that commanded attention without theatrics. Service was spot-on throughout—polished, warm, and effortlessly attentive. The poolside setting added its own magic, just across the water from our bungalow, which became our home away from home for the week. With the soft evening air and understated elegance of Hotel Escalante as a backdrop, the entire experience felt both refined and deeply relaxing. Veranda E doesn’t overpromise. It simply excels—and in Naples, that distinction matters.
This place is amazing! It’s located inside a boutique hotel, making it very private and absolutely beautiful. The outdoor decor is stunning, and the inside is just as lovely. We sat by the pool, and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. The service is outstanding, and the food is incredible. I highly recommend making a reservation before going! ✨🍽️

My husband and I have been frequenting Veranda E for the past several years, on Valentine’s Day, our birthdays and wedding anniversary. We have gotten to know the staff, especially Nayda, whom we always request. The food is absolutely delicious, the ambience and scenery are beautiful. But, what makes this restaurant a truly special place, is the wonderful service we receive from Nayda. Thank you so much for another wonderful evening.

We dropped in to check out the Sizzle week experience. We were greeted with enthusiasm and seated right away. Our service was wonderful and attentive. We all tried several different dishes spicy tuna bundt, cod, lamp, and the lobster thermidor. All the dishes were well presented and perfectly cooked. I'll be back.

The food was amazing! Our server was phenomenal. In 20 years of being gluten free, I have never had a server so experienced and knowledgeable about the menu and what I could eat. He even told me that the corn flakes that they use to crust the fish were processed in a facility that also processes wheat. Almost everything on the menu was gluten free, which was so exciting. The setting and ambiance was stunning. I highly recommend for a special evening out.
Came to have dinner to check the place out for a future event. I found the staff to be a bit arrogant and not attentive. The food was just “ok” and small portion sizes. My friends were less impressed than I was. The only thing that is nice about the restaurant is the relaxing atmosphere. I have lived and worked in Naples for years and the locals I know don’t bother with this place. SO many better options ?
Off the charts in every way!
