More like a Thai restaurant that tries to do many other cuisines in one place. Food is good but it was confusing at first. Take time to look thru the menu.

The menu was very large for a small restaurant a more a select menu is in order. We had reservations for a birthday dinner of 14 the food was mediocre and took two hours to come to the table in drips and drabs.
The polite staff was large and very attentive. The huge metal exhaust pipes were distracting separating tables of 4 and made the room chilly too boot.
With all the great restaurants around this one is a one and done!

I was really looking forward to trying Zen Asian BBQ, but unfortunately the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. The atmosphere felt pretty average and lacked the warmth or energy you'd hope for in an Asian BBQ spot. The food was okay, but nothing memorable, flavors were decent without really standing out, and the presentation was fairly basic. For the price point, I expected something a bit more exciting or authentic. Service was polite but slow and somewhat inattentive, which added to the overall “just alright” feeling of the meal. With so many great dining options around town, I'm not sure I'd rush back.
My wife and I have been to many Korean barbecue restaurants from New York to Florida and this restaurant did not compare. The beef we ordered was like chewing on a tire, we took home to be able to find a way to make it edible. We won't be back

Customer service not included in tab! Very rude customer service! So unfriendly ! Go else where witcha money! DO. NOT GAMBLE WITH YOUR MONEY HERE’
I had the Wagyu roll, Monster Roll and the rainbow dragon roll- all were very very fresh! My favorite was the Monster then the Rainbow (wagyu was good - but not comparable to the other 2. My husband had the Wagyu picanha, it was very good! I don't recommend the Kobe Beef Hot stone- the waitress recommended- it was very good- but 5 super thin small slices for $35 was not worth it at all. $7 a slice plus tax and tip is $10 not worth it. But the kids meals were generous portions - the alcohol social for 2 for &18 was also amazing size (half a watermelon). The ramen bowl was also very generous and delicious! 1000% we will be back! Amazing food!
Tables and walls had chipped wood. Everything looked worn. Our hot sake came out barely warm, service took a long time. Seemed there was not enough staff to accommodate all patrons. Food was average. Price was average. Would not return.
This place was my friend's pick for her birthday dinner. It was just the two of us and they were having trouble seating us. Prior to us, they sat several two-tops at tables that can fit four, but told us they didn't have any room for us but eventually stuck us at a tiny table in the back corner. The service overall was completely lacking, like they definitely forgot we were back here. Even the person refilling waters stopped at every table but ours. I expected better for a place with such high ratings especially for a birthday dinner. The restaurant itself is very tight packed, you may end up sitting very close to strangers. The women's bathroom lock doesn't work.
Thankfully the food was pretty decent. The Thai tea was good but had soooo much ice. We started with chicken satay skewers, shrimp and veggie tempura, and steamed potstickers in red curry sauce. For entrees, we both got a sushi roll, I ordered chasu ramen and my friend got the bibimbap bowl. Everything we had was delicious and left us feeling very full!

My family and I loved spending Christmas Day dinner here. Overall, a great time. The hot grill at the table was a fun experience as a family and all of the different flavors offered made it interesting (little bowls of kimchi and marinated radishes, onions etc). The servers were very attentive and kind. It's a great place for a family experience.
Disappointed by undermanned service & surprised at how poor the food was that evening. We've been to Zen before and have really enjoyed the food but this evening was poor overall. An example was a tuna sashimi order that was still partially frozen was finally delivered was shocking. Unfortunately, this experience has caused us to swear off ever returning.
Really nice experience and the prices are affordable

Something has happened to this place. Used to be much better. Now I'm not so sure about it. Ordered the cashew nut on ubereats which says in the description that it comes with chicken. Upon arrival it only contained vegetables. Also asked for it to be spice level 5 and it was still very mild.
EDIT: owner replied and said I needed to make a protein choice on the app. If that is the case then why would u put in the description that it comes with chicken without me having made any protein selections? U should probably fix this on ubereats so that this confusion does not happen to other people.
The food was AMAZING! The service was very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend!
