I absolutely love the addition of the outdoor space while still keeping true to original Pete's indoors! They ID everyone! No kids. Great pool tables! There are two huge bars inside and two separate but small outdoor bars. Seperate outdoor smoking area and private party room with a deck. Really well done!

They have a monopoly on the late night bar scene. As a result the staff and management could give two ishts. Here for conference, staying at One Ocean next door. We have come here every spring for years and have never experienced such ineptitude.The young blonde outside at the patio bar ignored and dismissed many in our party. I tried to get her attention ("excuse me miss") for a group of ladies that had been waiting for several minutes and she told me, "I know how to my job." Whe a peer gave her direct feedback on what happened, she told him that she wouldn't apologize and the owner would "back her up."Those group of ladies told her how rude she was and left to order drinks inside. My leader closed out his tab to not spend anymore money with her. There was close to 20 of us and they all left the bar in support. I was ready to leave and didn't drink anything else the of the night. If there were other late night options we would have left. Choose wisely and drink early...

Very bad service experience. I was standing at the bar with a friend for 30min without a drink, finally when someone passed behind the bar I waved my hand hoping they would stop. They asked us to leave and said that we are only allowed to make eye contact when we want to order something. Worst service experience that I have ever received, one star is too much, there should be a zero star option. Asked to speak with a manager and they did not want to show up.

I came in town to visit my girl friend, we came to Pete's and had 3 drinks while there, my friend and I had gone to the restroom and when we came out of the stall a female employee accused us of throwing up and kicked us out. Neither of us threw up and we were only 3 drinks in. On top of that they charged us for 4 additional drinks we did not have. Disappointed to say the least, especially bc my friend has been wanting to try Pete's for a while and our first time there we get kicked out for nothing. The female worker was extremely rude and wouldn't even talk to us when we tried to explain. I've never been kicked out of a bar and the first time I do, I didn't even do anything ?Update: there were 4 additional transactions on my friends account when we just looked this morning. Again we had 3 drinks each and charged her $220I've also hear from locals and reading some reviews that they apparently love to kick people out for no reason. Beware if you go there, you'll get kicked out for breathing

Nice "dive bar". They are doing some remodeling which looks nice. It was cold so we didn't spend much time outside. From what we did the beer gardens looked really nice amd had thier own manned bar even with the Temps and no one out there regularly.
IN SHORT: place smells like p!ss, sh!t, and vomit. Extremely rude and dirty.this place does not belong in Neptune Beach.Mostly for young college kids and drunks . Do NOT go.I am not the type of person to right reviews , I am very laid back and easy going, kinda a whatever guy. But this place was so terrible.I recently moved from Virginia to Florida for military orders . My 1st weekend here I decided to head down to Neptune Beach because I heard good things and I wanted to explore the area. So i went alone I walked into everyplace the was in the area. And it was amazing I fell in love instantly. Very beautiful area on the beach the bars and restaurants were so nice . Live music. I decided to head to Pete's bar last because they said it was the oldest one in the area and I thought it may be nice to save the best for last after all being open for decades is impressive. I went in and it was a totally different environment then what I was expecting. Alot of young kids and drunks. Place was crowded wall to wall. I asked for a water because I really wasn't feeling the area but I walked in might as well grab a water. But the bar tender was rude . He told me " I don't serve water , you can get it yourself " and pointed in the direction of a jug of water in the corner of the bar packed with people. I never been there and I waited in line for a bit . I just wish he woulda Been more greeting.So that was my 1st time there but I decided to try it out again with a buddy that was in town for the weekend. He loved the area too and decided to saves Pete's for last as well . We are a little older so we don't drink to get drunk anymore. We were just enjoying our time. We ordered a few drinks inside then we went outside because the smell on the inside was god awful and sat on a bench for awhile and talked. We had no drinks on front of us . Shortly after 2 bouncers came up to us and told my buddy he was getting kicked out and we were both confused. So I asked him " are you sure? Maybe you have the wrong guy" . He replied " I don't need to explain myself to you " so I decided to just comply because it's not worth trying to stay at a place that's awful to begin with. We were escorted out and walked down a few blocks. We joked about us not ordering drinks and maybe that's why we got kicked out . We costed them money or something. It was a big joke to us . We ended up walking on the beach and just laughing about how he could of got us kicked out.I actually do plan on going back if I ever wanna show people the terrible smell , tell em about my experience there and leave.

This place had alot of space and had alot of games to play. 100% must stop by. Has 4 pool tables, a ping pong table and many other cool things to play. Drinks were pretty decent priced and overall I just enjoyed myself very much there. 1 thing I didn't not like was my credit card was swiped 3x fir $25.00 even tho my drinks only came to $53.00. It took 5 days for the Xtra charges to drop off. Great job on creating a fun environment. ? oh....also....parking is a nightmare. There is nowhere to park but paid parking around this area.
