We had our First Street Grille Reunion here. These chandeliers are beautiful. What a great spot for an event. Ocean side and corraled in like cattle. These guys were amazing to us and we appreciate them all. Rent their space, throw an event you will not be disappointed.
This is probably my favorite bar in jax (and all my friends) but yall have GOT to fix the AC problem up front for real. Its been broken since before july 4th (which was actual hell) & the girls bathroom is actually a sauna. We know yall make bank but its genuinely soooo miserable to be up front and your bartenders are miserably hot. They all keep great attitudes up (especially adison & ronnie) but you can tell theyre dying. PLEASE FIX THE AIR.
Overall will likely have something that you’re looking for at varying times of the day. If you’re on vacation and looking for a cool place to have a pint or two in the afternoon it’s a great place for that. Expect to see a 25 and under crowd on any Friday or Saturday though. College bar vibes on weekend evenings. Couple pool tables and a vast outdoor area. Parking can be a bit spotty, but very walkable to many other places. Pete's Bar is a local favorite with a unique outdoor space that complements the original indoor setup perfectly. The venue features two large indoor bars, two cozy outdoor bars, a separate smoking area, and a private party room with a deck. Guests can enjoy live performances in the outdoor space. This dark old-style place, around since 1933, is filled with history—old liquor bottles, photos, firefighter helmets, and bar signs. The indoor space can be cramped, but the outdoor patio is great, though it gets packed on busy days. The drinks are reasonably priced, though some find them a bit high, and there’s no cover charge, just $10 cash to skip the line. With pool, ping pong, and a dive bar atmosphere, Pete’s remains a must-visit for those looking for a fun and entertaining spot. The addition of motion-sensing doors shows their commitment to inclusion. Truly the five-star dive bar!
