Wow this place is the place to be at night! Their new outdoor area is amazing! It has a couple of bars, lights, and TV's for sports. The inside was a little rougher but still nice as it had plenty of pool tables and cold drinks!
One of the icons of the Jacksonville beaches!!! If there was a competition, I would vote Pete's as the BEST DIVE BAR of all times! I've been all over the world and Pete's is still my place!
I did not have food, but this place being around since 1933 has some history. Even has a spot where Hemingway took a piss. Old liquor bottles, photos, firefighter helmets, bar signs, etc. A must visit for those looking for a dark old-style place to grab a drink. Do NOT modernize as it would ruin the atmosphere. Prices were a bit high, so maybe offer some specials.
