I consider myself a "Foodie" & trust me, YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS PLACE!!My husband & I decided to celebrate our 5th anniversary at Brix 33 & it was by far the BEST decision ever!!!.The food was absolutely amazing as were the drinks, ambience, entertainment and staff. I ate at a very well known, high end Steakhouse in Tampa recently & waited months to get a reservation. The steak I had there did not even come close to my steak at Brix 33! My husband had the swordfish which was out of this world. Do yourselves a favor and check out this place. THEY DO FOOD RIGHT!!!!! The best thing is, it's within a 5 min drive from home (NPR/Trinity area) AND NOT ONLY TASTY but classy, no more long drives to Tampa for mediocre dinning when Brix 33 is in our backyard!!

What a lovely place. The atmosphere is inviting. The service is well done. The are attentive while also allowing room for you to dine. And the food is amazing. We'll be back many times.

Great location where you can carry on a conversation without yelling over "background" music! Servers are helpful without hovering.

This is the third time we come to this restaurant (for the last couple of years) and today was probably our last. Every time we have gone, there is a lack of efficiency/urgency. Staff isn’t attentive. When a restaurant describes itself as “fine dining”, I expect a better experience, more attention and care. Food was good, nothing “amazing” or that stood out. I really wanted to enjoy it, as I like smaller restaurants, unique menus, etc., but I just keep getting disappointed and hard to give reasons as to why we should try it again.

Took my son for a birthday dinner last night. We ordered the cheese plate for an appetizer which was amazing and the best part of the entire night we both ordered the Hereford filet and the balsamic glacé tasted like store bought gravy with extra salt. The filet itself was cooked to perfection and very tender but the sauce just overpowered the flavor. When our meals were brought out we ordered drinks, a glass of wine for my son and a martini for myself and we never received them. Our waitress never came back. We finished our meal finally got a waitress attention asked her to cancel drink order to which she responded that bar tender was overwhelmed and that was why we never received our drinks. Very disappointing

My first visit to Brix 33 was to attend a business seminar with dinner service. We were served top sirloin (coulotte steak). I was a little disappointed. When I saw the sauce covering the steak I thought that was a restaurant trick to make the steak taste better.I don't know how the chef did it, but the steak was excellent. Tender, properly seared, and served at the correct temperature. The sauce, a demi-glace, was also excellent. Rich and full of flavor. Fingerling potatoes were served with the steak, as well as a salad made with fresh greens. Everything was great. We were all very happy with the dinner, as well as the service.Upon exiting we engaged in conversation with the manager, Karla. I told her how much we enjoyed the dinner, and expressed our appreciation. When I asked her about the steak and the demi- glace, she asked if I’d like to meet the chef. The chef (Eli) explained that the steak was a high quality Hereford steak, procured locally. The demi glace requires a tremendous amount of preparation, as do many of Eli’s creations. Veal bones are roasted for days, and then rendered to release the fabulous, rich flavor that enhanced the steak so much.I love french onion soup, and although it was not served with my dinner, it looked very appetizing, as did a few other items on the menu. So we made a reservation and went back the next day.On the followup visit we were welcomed like family. We spoke to the manager, the servers, and eventually met the owners, Dillon and Monica, who are partners with another couple in the enterprise. We ordered the Hereford filet and the sea bass. As an appetizer we had the beef tips. Bite sized chunks of filet over a mound of creamy mashed potatoes. It was covered in the delicious demi-glace, described above. We also each had the french onion soup.Since we both love french onion soup (if made correctly) we were really looking forward to this, and it was perfect. The broth, the croutons, the authentic and correct gruyere cheese melted on top. No one else does this! But Eli is strictly a traditionalist. His food is as good as it can be or he doesn’t serve it. The Hereford filet was perfectly prepared. The sea bass was fresh and also perfectly prepared. Ordered a side of mushrooms which were delicious, sautéed with butter and red wine. The restaurant business is difficult. It’s a lot of work. Its almost impossible logistically. This is a restaurant whose employees share the same goals as the owners. They are totally engaged, caring, and proud of the business. And they love the customers. When you get this level of commitment and ownership, it’s a winning combination. This establishment is a 5 star restaurant. The food and menu is a 5. The service is a 5. The management is a 5. The value is a 5.This business is located in a strip mall that may lead some to believe that it is less than an upscale, elegant, fine dining establishment. It is all of that. The parking can be a little challenging. If you want a great fine dining experience, an experience where you are immediately treated as family, an experience where you are surrounded by people who are dedicated to your total satisfaction, this is your new, go-to location.

Our server Deb made our evening delightful. We had a table of 10 and she didn't miss a beat on our orders. The food is very good, the portions are small and what you order is what you get. No extras like bread are brought to the table.Parking: Parking is free and lots of spaces

We had the opportunity to try Brix 33 last Saturday. We did make reservations as it was recommended, however I don’t believe it was needed if you plan to arrive when they open. Just driving by you wouldn’t guess that it is fine dining due to its location. However upon walking in you will notice the staff dressed nicely and be welcomed by a lovely atmosphere. My party of 3 visited for a special occasion, a birthday. We each enjoyed one of their old fashioned drinks which were strong and very flavorful. We skipped out on appetizers and went straight to entrees. Two of us ordered steaks, the coulotte and the filet, while the third ordered the bone-in pork chop. All 3 were very tender and flavorful! They were presented extremely well. The shallot tart that comes with the filet was absolutely delicious! Two of us chose to order the brandied baby carrots for a side because they were highly recommended, and we were so glad we did! They are definitely a must try, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We saved room for dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée and the chocolate terrine. Both were delicious and not a crumb was left on our plates. We did order a weekly special of Elk Chili to-go and every drop of that was also enjoyed. It reheated nicely and had a nice kick to it! Everything was perfectly balanced and portioned; we will definitely recommend this place and be back ourselves.

What a fantastic choice for a group birthday party! The food presentation was impressive and the flavors even better. Throw in great service and it's a win-win! I will be back for sure and I highly recommend it. PS. The chicken piccata is better than my grandmothers!
