Colombian Resturant Brisas Del Valle #2

I would like to say that I was extremely disappointed with all the food that we purchased. I ordered an arepa de choco and the cheese on top of not Colombian/Spanish. The Bandeja came with half on one avocado, however, it was over ripen and had brown areas. The chicken with mushroom had mysterious cups of chicken that were unknown to me in about seven mushrooms in total Which is not enough mushrooms.

I had the beef soup (sancocho de carne) and it was absolutely delicious! The flavor was rich and authentic, just like homemade food. The portion size was generous, and the ingredients tasted fresh and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for great Colombian food, I highly recommend Brisas del Valle #2. I will definitely be coming back!

It's a restaurant with delicious, authentic Colombian food, just like it's prepared right there. They have a great variety of dishes, excellent service, and good prices. Highly recommended!

authentic taste, however it doesnt feel fresh. Colombian restaurants really need to stop charging and arm and a leg for simple rice and beans, specially because the texture of the food is so mid.. like ik the rice is atleast a day old and reheated... i can taste and feel it... they are charging x3 or x4 times more compared to the fanciest rests back in colombia and honestly is a shame on our heritage and an insult as a customer.

we wanted to change the white rice for the yellow rice, but is only available for specific dishes... lmao k no issue

Steak will come dry with a soft burnt taste and it ends up reminding you of the beach because the slices are as flat as the taste can be and in all honesty it felt like a sandal (i guess thats what makes it more authentic). The papa criolla?... flacid, el chorizo?... dry and old, los frijoles sin sabor and not even una arepa cn mi bandeja

It took them like 30 mins to bring the food and i was already out of lulo after having empanadas (they good w this one) with aji ( the red one, tho i rather have the classic green)

Other people that came in 10 - 20 mins after us got their food first (proly cause of the special so id advise to eat here if you want the special they have for the day)

When the food (bandeja paisa and fajitas) came in dude didnt even apologize, i had to wait almost 10 more mins to eat while they brought the plates.... we were only a party of 2?

so we had to wait for like 40 mins for the food, im eating some dry reheated shit w/o liquids for 5 mins and dude had the disrespect to ask if i wanted more juice.... like my dude YOU ARE NOT GIVING FREE REFILLS, WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME THIS? like yall dont even offer a cup of water or smnthng? we are doing high 90s with high humidity wich make it feel like we are in the 100° and you dont even offer some water? geezz is not like you charge for tap water right? i mean perhaps they do... they even charged for the to-go boxes which had black spots in them.... was it mold? idk im no scientist but it was there, the service wasnt so nice and one of the dudes working here kept scratching his back with the menus so you tell me cause im already pretty biased with the experience

In all honesty a very authentic colombian restaurant por q como al igual q mi tierra... no dan ganas de volver... excepto por las empanadas

Food was sub average. Server was friendly. Atmosphere was not good. I decided to come and support a local business while I was in new port richey on Sunday 7/27/2025. Got a bandeja paisa which was $22 , outrageous in my eyes. I paid much less for better quality In Tampa. On sunday I paid $23 with tax and $27 with tip. Looked at my card and the charge was $30 lol. Looks like im not the only one that this has happened to. Poor guy was venting to me in english and spanish about how hard customer service is due to the kind of latins that come in. Maybe he was talking about himself or his family owned business I had a good conversation but everything was ruined when they up-charged me. Be honest people, cause this is a pattern, and god's watching :D.

I tried it for the 1st time the place is nice and clean the service was good also but the food does not have any flavor it does not taste like Latino food they should also consider putting more food on your plate rather than decoration , I’m a former restaurant owner and a cook for 30 years
