It took over an hour to receive our bread, soup, appetizers, and main course, even though the restaurant was not busy. The soup was spicy, and there should be a warning on the menu or from the server about the level of spiciness. The long wait and lack of communication made the overall dining experience disappointing.
We have been going here for years. When the seasonal folks have gone it's a great local business. We go for a week night out and you still get the same great service with well prepared and portioned selections, at a reasonable price, without the crowds. You can also get a glass of wine, which can be a nice treat.
Ate with a group of ladies, everyone raved over their food. The reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the bread came out once we received our food and not before and the Bleu and Greens salad was missing the pecans as mentioned on the menu...so kitchen prep but all the food was great.
