Kawa Japanese Steak House & Sushi

We haven’t been close to when it originally opened and wanted to give it another try ; the fact it was 12:30 on a Friday and there was only 10 people should have been our sign to leave . They charge the same prices at Tampa restaurants that serve 10 times better food. Everything was just ok . I’d understand paying $15 a person but not more than that for this area and quality . Do not waste your money

The food was OK could use some work. Service was minimal OK presentation was horrible. The restaurant was dangerous to walk for is extremely slippery

The quality of food here has drastically decreased and prices went up. We had two kids and three adults ordered the all you can eat which is supposed to be 32.95 a piece and 9.95 for the kids. When we got the bill, it was 187 which included a $30 service charge and $10 additional dollars because the kids didn’t eat all their plate. Would not recommend

I’ve been coming here for years and it is by far the best customer service , hibachi and sushi in Pasco County hands down. Mia is the best server and is always polite.

The food was ok, but their customer service needs to improve. We went to lunch at 2pm and thought the $20 all you can eat was a great deal. After we ordered, 2 things happened. First they took forever to bring a second order (and they were small) and then they said “we close at 3pm! So why not tell me that before I order all you can eat! Sorry, bad customer service. I will return to my Chinese Buffet.

This place was busy but our server Juli was great we have had her twice as our server and every time she was attentive and didn’t rush us. The food was also good I have no complaints.

I've been to a lot of teppanyakis. This place has the flavor and is really good. I was amazed My wife loves teppanyaki restaurants

Food is great but the servers are always so rude. Especially the young lady who greets you at the door.

Chef Maui was funny and did an awesome job entertaining us and our 3 kids! The kids absolutely loved it. Food was delicious.

Served me frozen brown spicy tuna, I tried to eat it but it made me sick. Insisted I pay extra for it due to not finishing it as part of my all you can eat meal. Besides the bad “tuna” (I’m honestly not sure it was even tuna as it did not taste like tuna) everything else was very good. They ended up not charging extra for not eating it but the fact that it was even served and asked for money was unpleasant
