Slice of Life Pizzeria

Pretty much the worst pizza I’ve ever had. It had no flavor at all. the cheese, the sauce and the toppings were barely edible. I don’t know what happened to this place the pizza used to be decent. I would never eat there again.

We had a caprese salad, an a Grandpa pizza. Both were very tasty. I really like their thin crust pizza.

I had to wait long, but my goodness it was worth it. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in my travels. Glad I stopped at this place while in the area for work.

We went here Saturday night Nov 7. We sat down and after a while the waitress Isamara finally comes over to take our drink order. There were only a few people in the restaurant 8 maybe 10. When she eventually comes back to take our order she just blurts out, "we're out of mediums and extra large". That tells you right there the dough isn't fresh or you would have every size available. When the food arrives, she just drops it on the table and very softly says "enjoy". I tried asking for plates, but she just keeps walking. Apparently having a plate to eat off of isn't standard. She never comes back to ask about refills or how the food was until we were done eating. She has a left over soda she wants to offer a refill with. That's just disgusting. We just paid and left. A very bad tip by the way. The pizza is ok, not any better than dominos it pizza Hut to be honest. The service from Isamara was just awful. She didn't have an issue sitting at the counter with her back to the customers. She just had an issue taking care of them. I can accept a bad meal, sometimes you get a poor delivery or something. Poor service is unacceptable. That's a choice you make and she chose to be bad. We won't be going back that's for sure. Hopefully she won't treat others this way.

Nothing like driving there, picking up your pizza, driving home, just to find they took your money and served you a burnt pizza.

Edit: so you took money for a burnt pizza because you were busy from the hurricane? Serving people burnt food is okay because you're busy?! Let's not pretend this is the first this has happened. This is just the time I have grown fed-up with paying you for burnt food. Maybe its my bad, I forgot to check to make sure it wasn't burned before driving home with it. How about some standards and quality control instead of passing off your mistakes to paying customers.

Our family of 8 ordered pastas, salads, pizza, hoagies, calzones and bread pudding from here tonight. It was absolutely amazing delicious I couldn’t say enough good about this place!!!! Thank you for putting out such good quality food, the family at 10018 Chip Lane!!!!

The atmosphere was so pleasant on a very rainy day that was accompanied with Hurricane Helene warnings. Inside the Slice of Life Pizzeria in spite of the weather we felt warm and cozy. We felt that way because of the wonderful staff member who was attentive and friendly. We were made to feel welcomed. My daughter, two grandchildren and myself highly recommend Slice of Life Pizzeria because we loved the pizzas, salads and hot sandwiches as well as the kids menu.

Overcooked boneless wings and 2 mozzarella triangles overcooked, manager was rude as well as the girl who took our order, 4 years ordering from here, must be new employees…when we called the Manager, he said “what do you want me to do” I guess nothing..Thanks! Will go elsewhere…I even had my employer order a luncheon for over 70 employees last year..Shame
