Bagel World - NSB

The staff at this location were just as memorable as the food. Very welcoming , friendly and helpful with suggestions which were great for my first time visiting. Myself and family purchased a couple items to taste the variety of what was offered and I can assure I’ll be back very soon to visit ???

My wife and I both got bagels to go for breakfast this week. I got a bacon egg and cheese on jalapeño cheddar bagel. My wife got the cinnamon sugar bagel with cream cheese. Both were excellent! We will definitely be back!

I will not come here again, passive aggressive workers and they gave me cheese when I asked them not to- my stomach is very sensitive and I’m lactose.. I reiterated that I didn’t want cheese and they said “yea I got that” even tho they still gave me cheese?? I didn’t eat my meal. Also the bathrooms had absolutely no paper towels or toilet paper. You guys need to put a sign on the debit card machine as well if you don’t want anyone to pay through the machine because like I said the workers are so passive aggressive after I paid through the machine she said usually her computer shuts down and asked me not to do it again, since the payment went through fine I feel like it was an unnecessary comment. It’s YOUR establishment, take care of it & put a sign on it to avoid things like this.

It seems that tourists are not welcomed here as the older woman working the cashier was extremely frustrated with me trying to help my daughter figure out her meal. She even proceeded to talk about me/my family to other employees after our purchase. Bagels were great, though!

Absolutely love this place, and it is a must while on vacation. Breakfast bagel sandwiches are how the day is started while the family and I are in New Smyrna. Got to give it to those working there, since when we are around, an order of 6 to 15 breakfast bagels is heading their way. Really appreciate the hard work. Thank You and look forward to next year.

Service was awful, very rude lady behind the counter. Bagels were average, not fresh. I would not choose to pay money to be treated like that again. Too bad. They had lots of customers….they could be famous if they put some effort in their product and were kinder to their customers.

This place used to be iconic now it is just average to below. Variety is gone and mostly the curly grey haired lady behind register is just plain rude to everyone. I was so disappointed. This was always a must at every visit. Never again. They should sell before the nostalgia and old reputation is lost forever….business is being devalued by tired service and reduced quality. Sad!!

I used to love coming here when I was younger everytime we came to nsb we woke up early just to come here. We came a little later today 9:15ish the line was so long and we are just now eating at 10:30 but it was okay I thought it was worth the wait. The lady taking orders was rude and acted like we were a bother for even ordering. Bagels are mediocre now. Sad.

Had raisin, bacon, egg and cheese bacon was delicious. Nice big bagel, with plenty of bacon. Visited it a couple of mornings when on vacation.

I love bagels and I mean love! These bagels you can tell are not made on-site and I am sure shipped in. I ordered everything bagel with extra cream cheese. They charge so much for cream cheese which is fine but I got hardly any on my bagel and it didn't even seem tasted which I asked for it to be double toasted. I will not be going here again. I can get better at Publix. Did give 3 stars because staff was nice. Oh and make sure you paint the wall to the right of the storage door and window. You missed that when you painted!

I'm glad this place exists because there are no other bagel places here. But... 1) these are not real bagels. (I'm a NYer who grew up on NYC bagels.) 2) no egg bagels or pumpernickel?? 3) I was hoping for a bigger selection of cream cheeses - at least one "lite" version and one fruit version. 4) Bagels should be packed in paper bags, not plastic, to maintain their texture and freshness.That said, I was told the cinnamon-raisin bagel was very very tasty. I'll be trying plain, everything, poppy, and sesame later today with the veggie, and onion, cream cheeses.

The breakfast sandwiches and the potatoes are beyond words kind of amazing! Friendly and fast staff. Awesome local breakfast place!

This place should have a perfect 5 star. The everything bagel is amazing so soft and perfectly seasoned. We got two breakfast sandwiches and a cinnamon bagel with honey cream cheese everything was the bomb. I highly recommend

The lady working at the desk is the most rude nasty person you’ll ever meet. I went to pick up an order that was sitting right on the counter while the line was 10 deep told me I had to wait in the 10 deep line to pick up a bag she could’ve just handed to me. How she still has a job is amazing as bagel world wants to continue to have people from New Smyrna Beach picking up food there she needs to go
