A friend from Cuba recommended this restaurant and it is terrific. They use real homemade Cuban bread, and the sweet bread they order from Miami. Real authentic bread is so important. The Cuban sandwiches are really excellent and served with plantain chips or sweet plantains. The restaurant is small with just a few seats but it is in a courtyard with tables available. Conveniently located near the beach. Relatively inexpensive too.

This is not really a review because every time I tried to go here, they were closed. This place is never open, even though it's the published open days/hours I've gone. Four times now, most recent an hour ago. Friday night, really.

We stopped for lunch and we're not disappointed. The owner was very friendly and nice, the sandwiches were excellent! We chose the Cuban and the Baracoa. The owner makes the bread from scratch, and it was delicious. Mine was on the sweet Cuban bread and it tasted great. The chips were thin slices of dried plantains I think, and complemented the sandwich perfectly. Highly recommend.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had! If you are in NSB this is a staple spot to come and eat. I had the chicken tacos with creamy garlic. SOO YUMMY !!!

This was a hole in a wall kind of place, mostly for take out. The food was delicious. Service was great, very friendly. The plantains they sale are delicious and supports local businesses but a bit pricey. The prices on menu are reasonable. Also there was an unexpected tip charge added to our bill. Unexpected because it was take out food. If I was a local, I would eat here.

Visited on a Saturday around 2pm and it was not busy, surprisingly because the sandwiches were great! Four of us had the signature Cuban and 1 had the Mojo Chicken and everyone was very delighted. The plantain chips are really crisp and flavorful and definitely recommend. I ordered a Cafe con leche and Daisy made it perfectly. She made the sandwiches too, and we all left happy campers. Will be back when looking for a sandwich because the Baracoa sounded really good! Really nice courtyard to sit and eat too.

My cousin & I happened upon this gem set in a cute little courtyard off of Flagler Ave. I had the cuban and he had a raft. Before we took our third bite we were talking about coming back before vacation is over! Everything was made fresh and utterly delicious! After, we treated ourselves to the guava pastelito and flan which were both heavenly! We enjoyed chatting with the owner and staff who were both helpful and friendly. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Had the Special Cuban sandwich and it was amazing!! Drinks by the can/bottle and sandwiches made fresh. The pork smell sold me as we walked by. Tucked in a courtyard off the main drive but worth searching!!

Holy drool! This place certainly hit all my taste buds with their bursting of flavored food. The waitress stated they slow roast their pork for 12-16 hours which makes sense because it was probably the best Cuban Sandwich I've ever had! Their bowls are absolutely delicious as well. Clean and cute little spot. Outdoor seating or a cool counter top to sit at inside. Staff was very sweet and helpful as well. I will certainly be returning to this place!
