Went to this place at 6:30 when the website said they close at eight. The doors were locked but there were still workers in the store and they did not open the doors. The workers, very rudely shooed us away. It was the only place that was advertised as open for fudge in New Smyrna Beach. Very disappointed.

This business is under a new name. It's now called "Zeno's Boardwalk Sweet Shop". I think this is a local chain because there is another place with this name in Daytona Beach area. The ice cream was great! Maybe the best I have ever had. They have a home made BIG waffle cone that is delicious. The one scoop is $4.99 but it is as big as two anywhere else and the waffle cone is $1.25 extra, but so worth it. Very friendly staff behind the counter. All three of us loved the ice cream. There is a nice area to sit outside where there is an Acai bowl place. My daughter says it is great also. It's on Flagler and worth the few blocks walk past the shuffle board courts coming from the beach. There is free public parking in the chicken coupe lot - not the official name, but that is what everyone calls it because of all the chickens around. Great NSB experience. Go for it!

I have diabetes to the second degree and I don’t fully appreciate having to bring my insulin epipen every time I stroll down Flagler, but what I do appreciate is a classic peppermint chalk ball that sort of melts in your mouth more than anything else. If y’all could use the chocolate cutlery like in Willy wonka that would be sick. Probably not the most logistically sound idea but it would make this 37 year old adult male one happy camper.

One look at my grandsons face and I could see his disappointment ?. If you like taffy this is the place to go. Ice cream cone seemed expensive too.

Popped in this little shop while my family and I were exploring Flagler ave! The staff were so patient with my littles! We loved watching the taffy machine! The ice cream was really good! Kids got the mango and cotton candy. Definitely recommend!

Many great memories of renting beach cruisers and getting ice cream with my daughter here. Went in today and asked to use the bathroom before making purchase and the clerk said that I couldn't use it. Not very hospitable. Left and purchased a juice at "Go Juice" next door. Told them about my experience and they said Beachside Candy is under new ownership. Shame.

I had a family member ask for some watermelon taffy and I knew exactly where to go!

Stopped while waiting for table to have deserts before our meal. It worked great. The ice cream was flavorful, taffy inventive in the selection, sea foam tasty, and candy apple good.
