Went on vacation and enjoyed a fire and live music. The owner came and visited and checked on us. Met some awesome people and had great conversation!!

Charged 25 dollars on new years for a generic cover band, kicked us out even though we bought wristbands because we left and came back. Awful place with mediocre drinks. The bartenders were also rude leaving sarcastic comments and almost did not want to serve us, clearly didn’t want to be there. I don’t recommend this place to anyone trying to have a good time

Local hangout with lots of regular characters. Sports on TV, pool tables and bands on the weekends. Hard working bartenders and servers.

Locals place! Lots of men, pics of naked women and locals. Great except for the misogynistic part. Great service and nice beachy vibe decent prices. Def feels local with nice inside outside atmosphere. Beware there will be smoke but since it's outside too, it's doable! Live music later too.

November 7th 2025, My sister and I went to Beachside Tavern for what was supposed to be a simple and fun girls’ night out — something I rarely get to enjoy. I live with uncontrolled type 1 diabetes, and I work from home because of it. Every single dollar I earn is fought for, cherished, and budgeted carefully. So when I do go out, I expect basic honesty and respect — not to feel taken advantage of.

We ordered two beers and two shots, and the total should have been in the mid-$20 range. My sister and I agreed that I would pay the bill and she would float the tip to the bartender. You can imagine why I was furious when I checked my bank statement and saw a $51 charge. My sister was the one who tipped, not me (and this I am sure of because it was fiscjssed and I wrote me own number 0 with a sideways line through it on the receipt where the would be filled in) so seeing a higher total than expected felt like a complete slap in the face. It left me feeling like something had happened behind the scenes that absolutely shouldn’t have happened especially since this is my hometown and a place I should trust.

And what makes this even more infuriating?
I tried to contact the bar directly to resolve it before involving my bank, and their phone number isn’t even in service, as another person leaving a negative review also pointed out. It’s beyond frustrating to feel overcharged, and then not even be able to reach someone to discuss it. That alone says a lot.

For someone like me — who battles daily just to maintain my health and make a living — noticing what felt like an HUGE overcharge was more than disappointing. It was heartbreaking, disheartening, and downright enraging. I don’t have the luxury of losing money. I don’t have the luxury of being careless. And it’s painful to feel like the trust I placed in a business was completely disregarded.

On top of that, the environment was awful. The bartender was unfriendly, and the whole place (besides the fabulous band) had a creepy, sketchy energy. Men were lurking around, staring at younger women in a way that made my sister and I feel uncomfortable and unsafe we didn’t even feel comfortable enough to order another round of beers and now I sure am happy we didn’t. It didn’t feel like a bar — it felt like a place we needed to get out of fast.

This experience left such a negative mark that I wouldn’t step foot back in there again to socialize and have a good time, which really sucks because I loved the band playing that night.
If you choose to go, watch your receipt, watch your bank statement, and stay aware, because I wish I had known what I was walking into.

Really fun place, live music, very friendly bartenders, outdoor fire pits, not really by the beach but everyone is having a good time!

This was our first time visiting. Courtney waited on us today and we could not have been more impressed! She was one of two bartenders/servers and our wait time for food was less than 10 minutes and served HOT and yummy. Courney remembered my name and was so personable- we will definitely be back.
