Great spot! The coconut hog fish was absolutely best piece of fish I have ever had. Light, flaky and cooked to perfection.The shrimp and grits were cheesy, and again, cooked PERFECTLY.Highly recommend.

Perfect ending to a perfect day! Spend the day visiting all the unique shops and boutiques and ended up at Crabby's for dinner with the family! Great view, great food, and great service. We ate upstairs in the lounge overlooking the beach! Couple of beers and great food rounded out the day!!

We’ve eaten here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and had a variety of menu items. The service is usually quicker in the morning and for lunch and even during spring break we didn’t encounter a wait to be seated downstairs.Best items: beignets, chorizo chips, baked oysters,chicken tenders. I’d recommend sticking to the appetizer type foods. Sides tend to taste like they’re pre made and mashed potatoes were served cold.Dietary restrictions: Nut-free options availableParking: Parking is horrible when it’s busy. We found many beachgoers using spots and we had to pay for parking to eat. Parking should be checked or pass given when seated to verify those parking are actually eating there. On more than one occasion we saw employees parked in the customer spots. Employee parking should be separate from customer parking.Kid-friendliness: It’s a beach dive, music playing and kid menu with ice cream.

I ordered the crab boil that ordinarily comes with corn on the cob and potatoes and I was so disappointed because first the service was horrible. When I got my bag of crap oil, there was a cluster of crab legs with only three legs on it and eight pieces of shrimp in the bag. For 40 bucks, they said they didn’t have corn on the cob and they gave mashed potatoes instead of the potatoes. Ordinarily in a crab boil in the mashed potatoes were about 2 tablespoons. They bring me a coleslaw that was only about 2 tablespoons then when I went to crack open the little three legs of a crab cluster they gave me it was still frozen , I am a local and it’s the first time I’ve ever been to crabby Joe’s in new Smyrna Beach and I will never go back for that experience

We were seated and had ordered our food before a large group, youth baseball team and parents arrived bringing in their pet dog. The sign on door clearly says "No Dogs". This pet, not a service animal, was all over the dining area, eating food off of the floor and literally standing up with front paws on tables. The leash was so long that the dog came up to our table and the table next to us. If I wanted to dine with a dog I would have gone to Petsmart. Really wanted to enjoy our evening but as soon as this group showed up with an out of control pet dog, we became cautious not relaxed and upset that management allowed that group to break the rules. I clearly saw what "entitled" meant that evening. Perhaps next time I'll bring my cat and cows.

Our waitress was fantastic. Our food was not. Fish & chips were terrible tough and rubbery. I had the red grouper dinner. It was way overcooked and tough. The only good thing was the dragonfruit margarita and the view. I was expecting better after reading the reviews prior to going there.

My family loves visiting New Smyrna Beach and we have our favorite dining spots. We tried Crabby's Bar and Grill NSB for the first time and we were blown away! Our server, Michael, was delightful. We asked him what his favorite item on the menu was and without hesitation gave us his top 5 choices. They confirmed for many of us what we already had in mind. Here's what we had: Ahi steak, Bairdi crab, Grouper tacos, Mahi tacos, Boom Boom shrimp, and Key West Combo. Oh, and the fried pickles appetizer...hands down the best I've ever had. Back to the entrees: they were fresh, flavorful, generously portioned plates. We sat upstairs for the outdoor viewing and dining aspect. It was spectacular all around. This has made our list of "not to be missed" dining spots when we visit. You will see us again Crabby's!
