We've been to Flagler Tavern many times, but this was the first time we were in “The Bounty”, their Speakeasy area. The drinks were excellent, everything else was disappointing. It appeared that the bartender was doing double duty as our server, which was confusing as there looked to be 2 other servers. Because of this, when the bartender got busy we were virtually ignored. We had soup and apps and that took nearly an hour and a half. The soups were good, but could have been hotter. The apps were nearly inedible because of the amount of garlic in both. We had the escargot, which was more mushroom than snail and the stuffed scallops which were more breadcrumbs than scallop. Both were overwhelmingly garlicky. We like garlic, but this was so full of garlic we are now safe from vampires for eternity. The menu looks amazing, and maybe it was just a bad night, but we would not go back for what we got.

Dined upstairs on the patio - food was excellent. Ordered shrimp tower, clam chowder, filet mignon, salads, potatoes, etc. with martinis & bourbon. So good!!!! $370 bill Service was better than fast food, but not much. They hit & run, but never refilled waters - or adult beverages . Disappointed Food 🥰 Service 🙃

Cute place right on Flagner Ave, we enjoyed sitting outside. The special was red fish, so 1 of us had the dinner and one had the sandwich. The dinner came with fresh veggies, which were delicious! The red fish was very good but we were so disappointed in the serving size. The piece of fish was extremely small! We left hungry and stopped on the way home for snacks. We don't mind paying for great food, but aren't a fan of having dinner and then having to pay for another dinner after. Besides the very small portions, we had a nice time and a really nice waiter. Will go back for drinks outside!

Anthony was such a cool bartender the vibes were great. He made us great martinis that catered to our favorite flavors. Definitely recommend coming here and seeing him upstairs! Great place.

Would give zero stars for service. Order was incorrect on a $50 steak and they wanted to comp me a 3.00 fee. Terrible service, had to ask for my salad and baked potato came after I was done eating my steak, management offered a free drink, terrible management.

So me and the hubby went to Flagler Tavern in new Smyrna Beach tonight for dinner and drinks and to listen to some great music Our server was Mya she was very attentive and friendly, answered a couple of questions that we had on the menu our food came out hot fresh and fast !! Mya also came back to our table multiple times to check on us and sure if we need anything The manager on duty, Kayla also stopped by our table just to make sure everything was going great… As it was, we enjoyed listening to the live music and the drinks were out of this world. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great evening

Nice lively spot in NSB. Great outdoor deck to people watch. the smashburger was two thin burger patties but definitely NOT a smashburger. Ya gotta grill it a certain way. Underwhelming and dry. Just read their menu description. It was nothing like that 😅

I wanted to take a moment to share some honest feedback because I believe your bar and restaurant has so much potential. I’ve visited twice in the last week, and both times I was disappointed by the service at the bar.
On my first visit, I arrived right at closing and the bartender seemed distracted and disengaged — no smile, no greeting, just a quick transaction. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was the end of the night.
This evening I came earlier for dinner and had the same experience again, even with three bartenders present and only about fifteen guests at the bar. The service was slow, there was little warmth or friendliness, and interactions felt transactional rather than welcoming.
What stood out to me was the contrast: the servers and host I encountered were kind and engaging, which makes me believe your place truly has wonderful potential. But at the bar, the lack of genuine hospitality was disappointing enough that I likely won’t return or recommend it to others.
I say this with sincerity — your restaurant could be a place people love and rave about, but the bar experience is not reflecting that potential. I hope this feedback helps you see it through the eyes of a guest who wanted very much to have a lovely evening
