Best ice cream in NSB. Sad to say the New owners have changed the ice cream. It is NOT THE SAME INGREDIENTS. IT WAS HORRIBLE . It made my friend and I sick at are stomachs .We made a mistake in eating the small amount we got. They also stopped having the dip top chocolate. It was disappointing.
I will not go back. I have been going there for over 2O years. So sad! 😭

Delicious, it was a total impulse stop. So good. I’m a total chocolate girl but the vanilla in my banana hot fudge sundae was the best I have ever had and I have had a lot of ice cream. They are have a lovely picnic area behind with buildings with shade trees.

Absolute classic. Delicious options, the perfect place to stop for a last treat on your way home from the beach.

Frozen GOLD. After a perfect day at New Smyrna Beach, the BEST beach on the east coast, stop in for the BEST Icecream in Volusia County. Have been coming here since 1989 with the kids and now the grandkids as well as friends. Sit out back under the shade of the Old Oak Trees trying to keep up with your drippings. Great memories for 36 years.

Always excellent stop on the way home from New Smyrna Beach. Fair prices and good portions.

I Love this place. We go as a family almost every weekend after every outing. Awesome locations and ice cream.

The building used to be Ritters which we were all sad to see it end... My kids were raised here having ritters hundreds of times in there 26 and 30 years of living in port orange... The owner greeted me kindly and when the menu had familiar items he explained that this wasn't custard and that they aren't a franchise.. I love the gelatis from ritters so I had to try Frizen Golds... I was pleasantly surprised the Italian ice was delicious in flavor and the portion was unbelievably bigger than Ritters( not that I needed more, lol).... I will definitely return the place is bright yellow and a royal blue with a neat oversized chair for a photo op, the play ground was still there but upgraded and fresh!! The service was quick and polite, so now I have to get my adult son to try the reeses dish similar to the peanut butter mountain!! I will be walking my dog there periodically and I'm so grateful to isn't another apartment complex, car wash, storage unit,gas station, or even a coffee shop ( which I enjoy but there are way to many popping up)... Looking forward to the burger truck coming soon that the owners brother will own!!!

I went to Frozen Gold in Port Orange and loved my ultimate turtle sundae. It was the best I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to try something else!

Stopped today for ice cream with my sister and daughter. I ordered chocolate peanut butter, but received plain chocolate. My daughter also ordered chocolate peanut butter, and while she got the right ice cream, she definitely didn’t order the hair that came buried in the scoop. This was our first time here; we definitely won’t be back.

Nice place with friendly servers but my strawberry cheesecake shake had no strawberry or cheesecake. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal if I was local but their shake was my last stop before getting on the road.
