Off the Hook Raw Bar & Grill

We stumbled upon this restaurant last year. We really enjoyed it. We looked forward to trying it again this year and planned on doing the same thing we did last year. Upon arriving to the restaurant, it was later in the evening. We had our baby with us who needed a high chair. The hostess wasn’t liking that we needed a table with a high chair because they apparently “closed the section with the lower tables”. She asked if she could use a booster and I said no since she needed to be buckled in. She fumbled with her words and looked around and shrugged her shoulders like there was no where for use to be seated. Regardless of time, you were still open and she wouldn’t seat us and made us so uncomfortable that we decided to just go around the corner to the sweet people at Colt’s. What a shame. We will never step foot in this restaurant again. I hope other families read this and think twice before spending their money at your restaurant.

Our first visit to Smyrna and this restaurant did NOT disappoint! Amazing food and great service are the best excuse to return to wonderful Smyrna Beach.

The decor is nautical and very pleasant. There is a full service bar. The menu has a large selection of appetizers, baskets, and entrees. My wife hade the poke wings, and I had crawfish etouffee. The wings were delicious, the crawfish etouffee was not an authentic New Orleans etouffee, but was very good. We both had the New England Clsm chowder, again it was not the typical chowder, but it was very good. Our friends had the fish basket, and the shrimp, both were very pleased.
Our server Madison did a fantastic job of taking care of us. She is a first class server.
We would recommend Off the Hook to anyone who appreciates excellent food. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful dinner out.

Always consistent. No Rock Shrimp however. EXPLAINED THEY WERE SMALL AND WE WOULDNT BE HAPPY SO THEY WEREN'T

We really enjoyed our meal of oysters and seafood entrees. I ordered the royal pink shrimp dinner, and my wife ordered the mussels. Everything tasted great and came out in a timely fashion.

Went at 3 pm on a Saturday. Older crowd at this time of day, not busy. Service is friendly though slow. Fried foods and oysters are primary dishes. The food was bland and on the greasy side. It's not a place for fresh seafood.
