2nd time here 1st for our friends. Living in West Palm I have excellent restaurants everywhere,SoNapa is included in my assessment. Started with a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, great. No apps but I had the soup du jour which was sausage and pepper! Never had it and I swear it could of been a sub! I shared my wife's salad which contained the right amount of dressing. Entrees were the twin beef medallions w/ risotto. I opted for the double cut pork chop. Food was served hot, cooked as ordered and enough to take home leftovers. Coffee and dessert were fine. Throw in a bottle of Cabernet and the evening was perfect. Our friends loved everything about it; food, service and ambience. Definitely a keeper

We found our booth to be very dark and the lighting inadequate. We would highly recommend LED rechargeable table lamps. They would not only give a soft glow that would enhance the ambience but allow guest to see the menu and each other much better! Other than the lighting the meal was delightful!

Finally got to the NSB location last night. The menu had been refreshed since our visit to Jax beach couple weeks ago, but the wagyu flatbread was no longer present or available when we asked, darn it. The short rib portabello ravioli was terrific, the rib tender and juicy, falling apart with the touch of a fork. We got the bacon wrapped scallops again and these were better than before, crispier bacon and tastier scallops, again being good sponges for mopping up the excellent citrus buerre blanc (hey dishwasher, you're welcome..) Service was disappointing though, not nearly the level we had up north. Explanations were disjointed and fumbling, having to check back twice to confirm our drink and food orders, timing was always late with dry glasses to many times and way too long between checking on our needs, even though there was only one other table in our section. An early sign of the expected service level was the salt and pepper grinders levels being less than 1/4" each, but the other tables were all full. I watched the tables in another section and they received the excellent service we had experienced before, so we can chalk this up to a one off issue, servers are people too. Overall a very nice dinner, even better atmosphere than Jax, wonderfully imaginative offerings prepared perfectly and as expected a great wine selection. Whatever you do, save room for the donut bread pudding with bourbon sauce and home made ice cream. OMG. Oh hell, just start with it!

Endless thanks and gratitude to Jamie for accommodating us on short notice and to Diana for her impeccable service and attentiveness from the moment we walked in the door.
