I walked in to the gas station for a sandwich, can't find any subway staff, the gas station people scream for an employee, this lady walks out with a face of straight hate in her eyes (Ruth). Comes out with a attitude asking what I want, so I refer to my typical sandwich which is roast beef, ham and turkey(ultimate,) she proceeded to tell me that I'm wrong and that's not the proper name for sandwich, I tried to wave it of, and she again went back to telling me how I was wrong. Now as I'm watching her make my food she's pulling slimy ham and roast beef from there containers full of water, slaps it on toes to the cheese there's crap every where as if nothing's washed at night or wiped down, next the lettuce tomatoes and spinach were all old dried, rinckled, the spinach was black. Then my grandmother orders same attitude. Same rude ordeal. Come to find out this lady Ruth was the manager of the subway. So by then I've had it with the lady just want my food so I can leave, the lady starts another argument with her coworker over her personal food.

If this is the subway on 44 and grand Ave I don't recommend it at all!! They prep food with no gloves and their people skills need a lot of work! If it's the one on 44 and Kepler highly recommend it!!

I stood there for awhile and no one even came out from the back. The circle K lady went back there and told them someone was waiting for absolutely no one cared.
So I went to Jersey Mike's.
Now that was a good sandwich.

Always friendly and good. I stop for breakfast most weekdays. Sometimes subway is closed due to circle k upgrades. The folks in the subshop are awesome!

This Subway is in the gas station's convenience store. Because we got our drinks from the convenience store's fountain, the Subway register couldn't ring them up. So we waited in the gas line after paying for the sandwiches, what a drag. The table(s) looked like they had not been serviced (cleaned) in a long while.

After gladly paying for over-priced, under-stocked and stale goods for almost a year (they don’t even sell coffee here?!), because my husband and I like to support local business owners, the manager refused to provide my daughter change for $20 for her school lunch. When I went inside, I assumed she had misunderstood him - because of his thick accent - but he gave me the same answer, rudely, might I add. I then asked if I bought a lighter, would he still refuse my money? He had no problem charging me $2 for a tiny BIC lighter and giving me change - of which I saw he had plenty when he opened his drawer. My family will never spend another penny at this “business” and will be sure to tell everyone to go to WaWa, RaceTrack, 7Eleven or CircleK instead. Good luck keeping your “business” open, that is not how you treat LOCALS who have consistently supported your “business”.
