Sorry, NSB locals and regulars, I have to let the 'outsiders' know about The Baker's Table. During a day trip to the Canaveral National Seashore, I researched local restaurants and discovered a gastronomical jewel. Jeanette (often seen buzzing in and out of the kitchen) and Jaime have created a fantastic menu that suits the medium sized restaurant and kitchen located on the corner of a midsized mall... From the fresh baguette bread accompanied by Himalayan salted butter, to the colorful crisp garden salad with a gentle vinagrette, to the tender filet prepared to a perfect medium temperature joined by a delicious trinxat and tender mushrooms, and the silky smooth crème brûlée with a perfectly flamed caramelized sugar 'glass' on top; you'll be offering your own Chef's Kiss. Considering the quality of the aforementioned food and excellent service (white linens, real candle light dining, superb wait-staff
), the prices are very reasonable! The menu has a good variety of seafood and non-seafood choices, and I even peeped a vegetarian dish. Do your taste buds a favor and make a trip out to NSB to dine at The Baker's Table - you'll be glad you did.Atmosphere: 4

I have had the pleasure of eating at the Baker’s Table several times for brunch over this summer and every time, I have enjoyed both the food and exceptional service. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious (quiche, shrimp & grits, goat cheese tart), and I cannot forget their homemade donuts! The portions are perfect, prices fair and the service staff treats you like family or a friend. Also, should you have a food allergy, they take great care of this fact (my sister has Celiac and they helped her make the best choice for this!).
For all these reason and more, The Baker’s Table is an absolute cannot miss restaurant while visiting NSB and I definitely will be back!

Wow! This is a must do! What a culinary delight! It is very rare that I eat at a restaurant and enjoy absolutely every single thing that I taste it, but this was one place I did!!! Everything was amazing! I was greeted upon entrance very warmly and seated immediately. Our server, Aaron, was absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire night. The restaurant surprisingly is in a strip mall, but don’t let discourage you because when you enter inside it is elegant, well appointed and beautiful. They started off with a warm bread service with a salted Himalayan butter mix, and it was delicious. I then had the oysters Rockefeller, which were fresh and full of flavor. Next, I had the escargot and they were again an absolute delight. They make a homemade pastry bread that goes with them and it was simply some of the best bread I’ve ever consumed. Next, I had the ceviche and it was the best ceviche I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. It was so fresh and full of flavor and citrus and avocado and seafood blended perfectly. We also had the arugula Caesar salad that had the most delicious homemade dressing. For main entrées, we had the red snapper and it tasted like they literally had just taken it out of the ocean. It was light yet full of flavor. It had a perfect texture that was served over a bean mixture that was phenomenal. We also had the filet mignon and it was literally better than some of the top steakhouses I’ve been to. Not only was it a large cut, but oh so tender and marinated and flavorful throughout each bite. It was also perfectly cooked and served over delicious roasted potatoes and mushrooms with a sauce that is to die for. I also tried their collard greens and they were delicious and uniquely prepared. I’ve never had a tomato based preparation and it was great. Just when you thought there couldn’t be more they let me taste the homemade chicken salad and it was yummy!! They have a huge display case with homemade desserts that I have to try next time because it looked delicious. They have mostly beer and wine, but they also have a few speciality cocktails. I recommend the French 75. I really cannot explain to you how good this place is … you must go. This has made my permanent to do list and there are very few restaurants that make that. If you’re in the area, make sure you tell them Michelle sent you.

Where to begin?!?!
Foie gras and escargot - incredible starters, presentation of foie gras in cherry-smoked glass decanter - beautiful!
Wine pairing of cab (Alhambra Reserva Mendoza) excellent with our dinner.
Main course of filet and sea scallops - perfectly cooked.
Desserts - crème brûlée and hummingbird cake. Execution of both on point.
Ashley, our server, was kind, helpful, and checked on us, but also left us to enjoy each course.
Jeanette, the owner, was lovely.
Great night of culinary precision. This place is a gem!

Enjoyed an amazing meal. Started with the crab cake appetizer and Watermelon Sangria. Main was Jägerschnitzel. Cannot say enough good things about the food. Fresh, perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Perhaps higher priced than other local places, but the quality and portions back up the pricing. While some are keeping their prices the same but cutting down on the portions, theirs continues to be generous relative to others... appropriate sizing and pricing for the desserts and meals because it's excellent quality. The only issue I continue to run into is the lack of a warm welcome from behind the counter when I check out. Perhaps I'm not in your target market, or I'm not going to be leaving a large tip because I'm not spending as much as others, but I'm still a customer. The owners actually always have a generous smile and thank you, but the rest of the staff definitely make me feel like I don't belong there because I'm not worthy of their wares. Lol It's weird, but it happens every time.
