Perhaps higher priced than other local places, but the quality and portions back up the pricing. While some are keeping their prices the same but cutting down on the portions, theirs continues to be generous relative to others... appropriate sizing and pricing for the desserts and meals because it's excellent quality. The only issue I continue to run into is the lack of a warm welcome from behind the counter when I check out. Perhaps I'm not in your target market, or I'm not going to be leaving a large tip because I'm not spending as much as others, but I'm still a customer. The owners actually always have a generous smile and thank you, but the rest of the staff definitely make me feel like I don't belong there because I'm not worthy of their wares. Lol It's weird, but it happens every time.

The bakers table is a must. The food is delicious and the service is superb! I've eaten here twice the first time I got the filet mignon and it was excellent! My second time I had the basil ricotta gnocchi bolognese and it did not disappoint. And both times I had the goat cheese appetizer which words can't explain how amazing it is! First time I shared second time it was all for me lol. The owner is so gracious and accommodating. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. We can't wait to come back.

The Revolt

My veal (Jaeger schnitzel) was not prepared properly. It was served undercooked. The server returned and told me the chef had checked it an I was right. He offered to cook a fresh one but I was not feeling at all hungry. The item was removed from the bill. The service was as good as it could be. The chef did 2 things wrong. The veal was still fairly thick in certain areas, which led me to believe it was not properly beaten. Second, he sent it out undercooked.

The Bakers Table charged us for two sandwiches, only made one, and sent us out the door with just the one sandwich. When we returned for the second sandwich, they made it and did not even offer to give a discount. Instead, they were snarky. Very disappointed with this poor customer service.

Always fabulous food and great service. The best restaurant in NSB. This place has local flavor, local charm and wonderful food and really good specials. You have to try their homemade deserts and baked goods.

We ate here for the first time today and we were not disappointed. The food was high quality and delicious. I wanted to take a picture of our dishes but it was so delicious that we ate it too quickly to snap a photo. They also made a very generous donation to our nonprofit animal sanctuary. We will definitely be back!

Vegetarian options: They had quite a few vegetarian options but not many vegan options.

I’m appalled to see foie gras on a menu! As someone who values ethical dining, I cannot support a restaurant that serves this cruel and inhumane product. The production of foie gras involves force-feeding ducks or geese, causing immense suffering and health issues for the birds. This practice is so egregious that foie gras is banned in several countries, including the United Kingdom and Germany, as well as in parts of the United States.
I urge “Bakers table” to reconsider their menu choices and remove foie gras. Until they do, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who cares about animal welfare. There are plenty of delicious and humane alternatives available. Please, do the right thing and take foie gras off your menu.

One of those hidden gems that’s been under your nose the whole time and when you discover it you’re like “how did I miss this place of these years!” That was my wife and I today after we had their Ruben and Pastrami sandwich they made us 15 min before their 2:30pm closing. Thanks for the homemade doughnut ?! ?
