Enjoyable meal. The lightest, fluffiest ricotta cheese gnocchi I've ever eaten. Not like the usual bullets that sit like lead sinkers in your stomach. But rather little clouds of happiness. The limoncello donut was perfection. While it is difficult to capture great atmosphere in a strip plaza setting, the people here truly care about the food. Service was excellent. Also in the picture are potato latkes with smoked salmon and a reuben.
I've eaten here 3x in the last year and each time the service has gotten progressively worse. Food is all great but they are just clueless to the length of time they are taking to provide basic service.Not sure if arrogance or incompetence but it'll have to get better for me to come back or recommend to others. You also should never sit outside in the spring as the no see ums will eat you alive while you wait for your food. Over 70 mins and counting to get food from our arrival in this instanceJust not acceptable vs other restaurants in the area that have much better service.

Beautiful space for excellent meal with family! Great service, super friendly staff serving up a gournment meal. Even the simplest items are especially scrumpcious, like the donuts and cookies! And across from New Smyrna Beach for a walk on the beach after.

Decided to try another one of NSB’s best and it absolutely did not disappoint! Arrived at around 4:15pm and sat at the bar. My server was friendly and was quick to get me water and bread while I looked over the menu. Decided on the sea scallops & short rib served with truffle mashed potatoes and au jus, which was just fantastic! The three scallops were large, perfectly cooked, tender and delicious, the short rib was also incredibly tender and flavorful and the mashed potatoes were top tier, the truffle was noticeable but not overpowering! Their bread was also incredibly fresh and good, nice crunchy crust with pillowy soft insides and was right out of the oven, so the salted butter they provide melted right into it— Heaven! I decided to snag a piece of the caramel cheesecake to go, which was also a wise move, because it was creamy, sweet, and had a lovely caramel flavor throughout. I will undoubtedly be back here more often, even though I live around 40 minutes away!My only critique (and it’s a pretty minor one) is I would have preferred the short rib to be one large cube instead of several smaller bite sized pieces. The large cube would have been more photogenic, but from a flavor standpoint I suppose it doesn’t matter.

Reservations on Wednesday, seated promptly.Server was knowledgeable & attentive, we ordered wine, appetizers & dinner. Server timed the table service perfectly. Generous portions & everything was delicious brought leftovers home for next day lunch it was just as good. Ordered dessert & after dinner drinks.A good experience all around & not outrageouslyPriced
Ordered a chicken salad sandwich for take out….happen to change our routine and we were next door during Friday brunch hours! Sandwich was excellent ~ flavor, size, packaging ~ included very tasty chips! Do add a dessert….we took home a bag of peanut butter chocolate chip oatmeal cookies! Heavenly!!

Very nice brunch/lunch spot with excellent deserts! It is located in a strip mall, and is small, but very nice and delicious food! The smoked salmon with latkes was what I ordered. Both Latkes were so flavorful and the smoked salmon wasn't too salty, the way it often can be. I probably would have enjoyed it more with extra sour cream to balance the stronger flavors (it came with a dab of scallion whipped cream cheese, minced purple onion and capers). One of our party had shrimp and grits and really enjoyed it! Someone else had the Pesto Chicken Ciabatta sandwich that she really liked. My spinach salad was quite good! Dessert for two of us was the Hummingbird cake, which was delicious! The other dessert was some type of bourbon chocolate pie concoction! It was well loved, rich, and every bite eaten!The only slight minus for me was cold water, but not served with ice (as is done in Europe and most of the world). I'm sure I could have asked for ice, but it would have been a distraction. I guess that is part of my American idiosyncracies!Wheelchair accessibility: One of our party has Parkinson's, and needed extra room at the table. I had called ahead, and they provided a table that was easy to access, which I really appreciated!
