This was recommended by some locals, so I checked it out. Awesome place! Lovely atmosphere, away from all the noise. Ally is an awesome bartender and took very good care of me. I will definitely be back! It’s another world.

I barely caught her name; I think it was Allison. She was absolutely tremendous. We went with a decent-sized party, and she handled it like a boss. We didn't have to wait for drinks at all, and God, did they taste great!

Absolutely perfect our favorite place we come here all the time celebrating our 45th anniversary this whole week and wouldn't go anywhere else

Dined with friends in upstairs dining area. Very pleasant once fans were shut off which took the chill out of the room. Excellent drinks, food and service. One of our favorite restaurants in New Smyrna Beach.

Food bland. Drinks very little alcohol. Service slow. Great atmosphere and lots of music. Fun place just mediocre food, drinks and service.

An amazing menu with options for all. The food was amazing and so was our server. I'd come back again for sure.

It was January 1st so there were no high expectations. The server did forget a couple of things but the food was outstanding. The clams, escargot and octopus legs were done just right.

We have been to Flagler Tavern numerous times in the past and always had good food and service so we hope tonight's experience was a one off. They were out of many items on the menu as the had a busier than expected holiday weekend. I understand things happen but you're a business and if you're going to open your doors you should have most of your menu items which was not the case tonight. On top of the menu issue it took us over an hour to get our meals which were simple hamburgers and when we did all 4 of the burgers were overcooked (medium was the order) with one so bad it was uneatable. The front of house staff worked hard to try and make up for the deficiencies but in the end our birthday celebration was ruined. The manager comp'd our drinks and the uneatable burger but there's no way to make up for a ruined night. We will return to Flagler in the future as we believe this was just a bad night.

Had the Shrimp Tower appetizer. It was excellent. The restaurant has a very fun vibe and is also good for drinks.

With such a wide variety of meals to choose from, this is a perfect eating place for anyone! The Shepherd's Pie was enjoyed by two folks in our party. Two other chose the chicken or beef pot pies with excellent results. Another person had the fried shrimp basket with fries, which was also very good. The happy hour price for beers and other drinks, saved us $1.00 per drink, so take advantage of that!

Cool place! Been there before! But....bartender tonight selling their brand fell short (9/19 5-6pm). He was non interactive, unfriendly, and literally at times ignored us and we were interactive with another couple, four of us (only) at the bar. If you have a upscale top shelf bar, a better staff should be in order. The food was good. But will not come back if we walk in and see the same bartender. Better places on Flagler.

Hungry? Thirsty? Why not try out one of the Best bars in Florida in 2024??

In addition to great dining out, I always appreciate a fine spot for a great beverage! Featuring great bars from the Panhandle to South Florida, ranging from a super-casual beach bar celebrated in song by the likes of Kenny Chesney and Jimmy Buffett to an upscale craft cocktail bar that occupies a former library in the state’s capital, we know you’ll enjoy some of these favorite bars in Florida.

An inside look at The Bounty, upstairs at Flagler Tavern in New Smyrna Beach.

Created from a love for “all things bourbon” The Bounty at Flagler Tavern cultivates a true speakeasy experience right in New Smyrna Beach. The luxe bar, accessible through a hidden lot entrance to the side of the building, sits upstairs in part of the 1928-built space, originally a family home, that the Flagler Avenue restaurant now occupies. According to general manager Kristin Chmielewski, its nautical interior, designed with wood reclaimed from the near-century-old home, includes the space’s original fireplace and coquina — not to mention a prohibition-era door grille for password entry. The intimate bar captivates locals and vacationers alike with its sexy scarlet-hued interior, scenic deck and award-winning craft cocktails. While you can enjoy a classic aviation or espresso martini, locals are often found sipping on a smoked maple old fashioned or rum-based monkey business. — Helena Perray, The Daytona Beach News-Journal

Opentable Diner

The outdoor seating was decent and the many fans provided did a great job of keeping us cool. We order the $45 oyster tower. It provided 20 oysters with varying preparations, it was fine. One of us got the fried flounder sandwich which was very good, the other ordered the scalloped stuffed flounder which tasted like cheap stuffing and cheap overcooked white fish. My drink was tasty but lacking in alcohol for the price. We also ordered the lamb burger but it wasn't properly herb prepared to get rid of the gamy taste and 2/3rd was left behind along with the caesar salad side we paid an up charge for that came as dry as the dry lamb burger. When we asked for extra sauce to help with the flavor we were charged for that too. We really wanted to enjoy the place but it was a disappointment. The slow service also made us cancel our later plans because dinner took 2hrs and 15min since the meals were brought out so late. It was not a busy night.
