It is not generally good here my wife has Caesar salad where the lettuce was limp and soggy the dressing was not very good. I've been here 5 or 6 times and tried different things almost every time and most of it is pretty poor. On top of that you're paying a very high price for what you're getting compared to a nice fillet mignon or fresh fish somewhere else. The food is better at Olive garden, which says a lot. The atmosphere is great though and the live music is nice sometimes.

Visited NSB for a few days and made sure to stop at The Garlic. We are so glad we did! Fantastic atmosphere. Fun and funky design inside and out. They had a talented musician playing. We really enjoyed that. Our server Bobby was wonderful. He knew his stuff and even gave us a list of must try restaurants in the area. Now about their food. The food was top notch! They start you off with amazing bread and a whole head of garlic with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We started with a Cesar Salad and it was delicious. My husband got the Bocce Ball meatball and he raved about it. It was very flavorful and gigantic! I had the Ravioli Bolognese. The raviolis were delicious and the sauce was SO good! Great flavor. Slightly sweet with a little bit of spice. We ended our meal with Espresso Martinis. They were A+. Also the whole meal was very affordable. We were shocked at how inexpensive it was. So don’t miss this spot!

My friend and I were in New Smyrna for the weekend and read this was a good place to eat. First of all, they do not take reservations. Second, it is very crowded, so parking is difficult. We walked in and the listless hostess was not very welcoming. She acted like it was quite a bother to help us. I asked to be put on the list and gave her my cell number. She said it would be an hour wait. Nearby, I heard a party complaining that they missed their alert text so lost their table. I watched my phone intently after that. After one full hour I got up to check in. She told me I did not respond to my alert text so lost my table. I asked her what number she used because I got no such text. Turns out she had incorrectly typed in my number. We finally got seated. The live music was fun. The atmosphere was quite loud. The stools were not comfy. The waitservice was good. My friend and I each had seafood pasta. It was okay. A little bland and chewy. Price was a little high for the portions. My Caesar salad and the garlic/oil/cheese and bread were all delicious. Bathroom was clean, but the smart toilets were confusing. Lol interesting place! Just make sure you check your number with them and monitor for texts!!
Parking: Small free lot with limited parking since restaurant is so crowded. Handicap parking included.

Great dinner to celebrate my daughter‘s 21st birthday. Amazing food, atmosphere and service! It was a great evening. I ordered their version of sausage, peppers and onions, and it was absolutely fantastic. There was enough food left over that the waitress literally sent it home with me in a bucket!!!

My personal opinion at first was a flea market atmosphere, then my husband and I went to the blue bar side and liked the atmosphere there much better for a date night. Food was ok , drinks were good also. For a date night be prepared for close tables. Neat to see the ambiance in places.
