We walked in right before they were closing thinking they closed an hour later. I always sit at the bar wherever I go and we had the pleasure of meeting Brandon who didn’t say one word about closing up soon. He was very nice and super helpful. Didn’t mind one but that we walked in so late. I was super impressed. The food was great and the service was even better!! I’ll definitely be back!!

Loved the casual, fun vibe. Live music was a real treat. We sat at the bar and bartenders knew how to make a good martini (we are picky). They were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious too. We loved the potato shooters

Had the Vegan “chicken” which is actually a Lions Tale Mushroom! Well! Let me tell ya! Looks just like fried chicken and is the most amazing light flavor ever! If i could have someone this talented cook for me daily…I would totally convert! Even if you aren’t vegan this is a must dish!!!

Absolutely delicious lunch at The General Public House! The new menu is fantastic, and Chef Heather Otero is truly bringing her award-winning touch. I had the Cobb Salad with chicken tenders instead of turkey—fresh, flavorful, and that house-made green goddess dressing is next level. The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy (and I’m super picky!). Also love the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese—unique and so good. Highly recommend!

This was an outstanding place this is my second time going and it still doesn't disappoint The food was amazing and fresh the service was fast and helpful and the video was great!

When for Father’s Day brunch. We had the bbq pig buffet, it was amazing. Drinks are on point and the service was awesome. We were so excited to hear that Heather is now here. We will be regulars.

Food was great. It was nice seeing Heather Otero , shes a great addition to the team. Would love to see her Shrimp and grits on the menu …Its the best!

The buttermilk chicken is to die for! The mac n cheese seems made from cheese sauce. I would probably sub out my side next time. But the chicken, omg! Great place to try some different whiskey. Great atmosphere.

Love this place! The chicken and waffles has got to be one of my favorite dishes! You actually get two chicken breasts between the waffles, and it was so tasty, and juicy!! Perfection!

My boyfriend had the “Odd Bird” chicken sandwich, which he said was delicious, and some truffle fries (which I was picking on). Soooo good!

The server was so sweet, and informative. Made me “a very old fashion” which I really enjoyed (it had a hint of cinnamon smokiness to it). He was super personable and attentive.

The atmosphere was chill and I loved that they played oldies. I was jamming out to the supremes, in a calm, clean and welcoming environment. Already planning our next visit! 🤗

Service great and nice atmosphere. Great bar. Food, however, was lacking. Chicken Wing appetizer good but that was about it. Max & Cheese was dry. Brisket dinner was overcooked & dry. Chicken & Sausage Gumbo had one piece of sausage that I could find & no chicken. Everything seemed reheated.

The waitress was rude. the food was cold. the music was too loud. no one would help us but the hostess and when the waitress returned our bill she threw the bill at us!

The staff was great and the food was delish!

We had the best service and the food was great! We had a party of 21 and it was the best experience.
