The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and everything in combination made for an unforgettable date. We will be back!
Parking: It's tight in spots but doable.
Kid-friendliness: There were two kids at one table and a group that were coming in and they had a baby with them.

A classic eatery in new smyrna and a staple for all surfers. Love the decor and menu board which hasn't changed since the last century (please don't change it!! I love the nostalgia ?)

Well..a bit in shock as my go to weekly meal of the Cuban Sandwich, that comes with chips, and I buy a 4 oz salsa to dip them in(which is no charge at most places) price increased from $12.25 to $13.85 after they returned from a two week vacation. This doesn't include fries or a drink, etc. The menu sign doesn't reflect any price increase, and they don't give receipts, so I don't know what the breakdown is. Inflation is supposedly contained to 3% now, so I can't really understand this additional significanct price increase. Very disappointing. Not to be at all flipped, but maybe consider being open more than 4.5 days a week, as opposed to increasing prices. I estimate that I spend about $800 annually there, but unfortunately that will need to be seriously cut down, at least in half. To make matters worse, the amount of meat on the sandwich was less than typical, and there were several large pieces of pork that I couldn't even chew. I actually had to spit them out. I really hate having to put this review, as the owners are typically very nice, but I am extremely disappointed.

The Taco Shack is a great laidback place. If there’s a line to get in, be patient, it’s worth the wait.

The food is amazing! Best chips and queso I have ever had. The seasoning on the chips was amazing. The staff is very friendly. Prices are very fair with good portions. All three of us ate for under $40 and got our entree, an appetizer, and beverages. We will be eating here again soon!

Taco shack is a little shack with limited seating, bathroom is next door, and big character. It’s a fun place to go and grab a bite. The sign posted says that they open at 12ish and I believe it’s closed on Sundays and Mondays. The food is fresh and hot. I believe I waited longer to place my order than to get my food.
