This is our second time here and our last time. We went during lunch time and asked if we should make reservations for dinner they stated no. When we went for dinner they said it will be an hour wait but we can sit at the bar. People were crammed in at the bar so we asked if we can sit inside. They said yes. We got our appetizer right away and waited 2 hours for our dinner to come out! They stated there was a confusion in the kitchen. The manager did not come out to apologize. Everyone was so rude. The first time service was awful as well but decided to give it another chance since the food is pretty good. I spoke to some locals and they gave me other recommendations. They stated that third wave has gone downhill. Too pricey for the food you get. Do not recommend at all!!!!

We both had brunch here, with perfectly seasoned (not overpowering) potatoes, eggs, veggies, etc. Setting was lovely (outdoor but shaded) and the service was efficient and courteous. Expect a wait on Sunday around noon--but worth the wait!

Third Wave is one of my favorite spots in New Smyrna! Great drinks, food, and atmosphere. It's a must try!

Everything was great. We ate upstairs in the cafe since the outdoor dining was full. 4 of us are and all thoroughly enjoyed the meal from start to finish. Try the short ribs and the Brussel

We have always loved eating at third wave as we regularly find the experience wonderful. But there is that one exception and we had it Tuesday night! I love the oak roasted chicken until this time! The price was steep 30 dollars which was a shock cause online menu did not reflect the increase. The chicken was smothered in a highly spicy sauce and it may have burned in process of cooking cause when I turned the chicken over it was blackened…waitress seemed to be distracted and couldn’t tell me what the sauce was spiced with but told us the cafe changes recipe every once and awhile….i would have asked for refund but she never came back to fill our water….we’ll chalk it up to a one time experience but for sure next time I’ll ask for return of our money or at least a new dish!
