This a great breakfast place. It has a mix of American with Argentinan and Spain influence. The empanadas were delicious. The best ones were the steak one and the chicken on. The submarino hot chocolate was the perfect amount of chocolate. The tortilla espanola was also good. The JP bennedict was delicious, but our hash browns were burnt. Wonderful service!

Favorite place to get an Omelet-spinach,feta with side of grits. Not sure where they get their feta, but the flavor is so yummy. Their service is great and the crew is always friendly!!

I don’t recommend anything.they were so rude.we had never been we’re just looking for a place to grab breakfast. We walked in they were a little busy and we weren’t sure if we supposed to seat ourselves or wait. One of my friends ask one of the lady’s if we were supposed to just sit or if there was a waitlist.she very rudely looked up and said there’s a wait and just walked away.sp we waited about 5 minutes and they continued to ignore us so we asked a different lady what to do and she said to talk to the other lady who ignored up before.so we just left.i have worked in restaurants my whole life and I know it can be stressful but there is never an excuse to treat customers that way.

We came in for a nice relaxing breakfast this morning have been there before had great food great experience. This time we had a waitress take our order and bring us coffee. Then another waitress came and delivered our breakfast we had no silverware so I got up and asked a waitress for silverware. I sat back down and realized that our toast was not buttered so I asked the waitress for butter. We asked the waitress for more coffee. So when it was time to go my husband said we need to tip both waitresses. So I gave the waitress first waitress a $4 tip Alex went and got a $5 bill asked the second waitress to give him $3 back she handed it to our first waitress and said give me $3 back and handed it to Alex I tried to explain to her that that $2 was for her she started screaming at me. But she didn't know what the problem with my table was but she is not my waitress. All we were trying to do was tip both waitresses. It was very embarrassing trying to be nice and tip to waitresses. We will never come back

We visited Wake Up Café on a busy Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were seated despite the crowd. My fiancé had the biscuits and gravy and declared them delicious. I went for the dulce de leche French toast—decadent, sweet, and so rich I had to save half for later (and yes, it was just as good the next day). Our 11-year-old gave his pancakes a big thumbs-up, which is basically a five-star review from him.

The food took a little while to come out, but honestly, nothing that made me upset—just gave us more time to sip the really good coffee and people-watch. The place was packed, but the atmosphere felt more lively than overwhelming. Our server was kind, and the service was steady considering how busy it was.

Overall, it was a fun, tasty stop, and we’ll be back on our next beach trip. 🌊☕🥞

We had an amazing brunch at Wake Up Café! The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I’ve had in years — rich, flavorful, and perfectly done. I was actually able to enjoy every bite.

The omelettes were cooked to perfection, loaded with cheddar, goat cheese, feta, sausage. Stuffed dolce French toast was a hit with the kids and a real standout combination.

Everything we ordered was top notch, and the whole group loved it. This place is definitely worth a visit highly recommended!

Visiting the area, we decided to stop in for some food. The staff was very nice, and the food was good. I especially enjoyed the empanada. We went around 12 p.m., and the place was a bit dirty; the floor could have used a sweep, and there was a noticeable stain on a ceiling tile in the back that looked like it had been there for a while, possibly with black mold. The food itself was great, and overall it’s a good place, though it could use some extra cleaning. It may have just been an off day or the timing of our visit.

The best breakfast in town — super tasty with some unique and delicious options you won’t find elsewhere. It’s usually busy, but there’s plenty of parking and no long wait. Seating can feel a bit cramped, and it gets noisy, but the food more than makes up for it.

What a hidden gem! The food is phenomenal and a perfect mix of traditional American and Argentinan. They have gluten free toast and will use it to make gluten free French toast, which was amazing. The staff is super friendly and the decor is cute! Will be back!!
