We drive over an hour to this place cause the food is always good. Yesterday on Labor Day the service was absolutely terrible. Waited so long to be acknowledged then saw other tables waiting even longer and ignored! It’s a very tiny restaurant and I didn’t see any teamwork. I always tell people about this place as well, but this time the service has gone way down. It takes a lot for me to even write a review. Just need more help and better team work.

If you don't like this place, then you shouldn't eat breakfast! The menu has most of the traditional American breakfast items with a Latin twist. And the portions are just right! Kelsey was our server and she killed it on a busy day when we came in with a group of 8! Thank you!

Best breakfast in New Smyrna. We found this hidden gem and fell in love. The food is absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly.
My husband and I ate here yesterday for 1st time. Wonderfully, delicious, high quality food. This was not just a fluke that all the stars were aligned on the day we decided to eat there. The owners and staff obviously work very hard assuring their customers have a great experience. Wish we lived in N Smyrna so we could come more often.

We enjoyed coming here during covid when we lived in a small condo across the street from Wake Up Cafe North. Now, 4 years later, we went with my family again over 4th of July. Our family chose to visit there twice in the same week, they enjoyed their experience so much. They are consistently good!!
Their Benedicts, omlets, Spanish style dishes and avocado toast are all delicious. We've sampled quite an array of their brunch options, and all have been extraordinary. We especially loved their aioli fries!
Atmosphere is great! Service is exceptional. They make you feel like family when you dine here. Be sure to visit Wake Up Cafe on your next trip!

There’s no question about Wake Up Café North - the breakfast experience here is exceptional. From the service to the food, you can’t go wrong. The Eggs Florentine is wonderful and I will be getting it again. I strongly recommend taking a visit for breakfast or lunch here. It’s clear that the Stach family cares about the customer experience and maintaining a top notch restaurant.

We were in town this week and had breakfast here twice. The food was delicious, well presented and had generous portions. Staff was friendly and hard working. The Avocado Toast was the best I have ever had. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in town.
