The staff is so kind! The steamed shrimp is delicious! Highly recommend
Bubs mom lance Dillon and gang are the best I especially love their donuts
They shrimp boil is the best of the best.
This is my favorite seafood market ever. From the moment you walk in, you notice how sanitary everything is. It doesn't smell like a fish market. Everyone there is nice and helpful. The fish has been some of the best I've ever had. They lay plastic wrap over the product on ice. Just everything about this place is top notch and extra mile. They also sell wet aged beef, which is very good. Coming from pensacola and joe patti's this place is a dream come true for seafood. I can't recommend this place enough.
I love having this fish market just down the road from us! Great staff, great selection, great seafood.
Byrd's Seafood Market is the place to go if you are looking for fresh seafood. We love getting the already peeled shrimp with corn, potatos, broccoli, brussel sprouts and sausage. You get to pick what you would like steamed and make it right then. It is perfect for a catering need or just for a quick healthy dinner for your family. We had a huge (in my eyes...lol) tray made for my birthday. We also got oysters and crab legs. Everything was so good!!!!
Overall I think this establishment was cute & clean. I’d say it’s a bit pricey but it’s good for a quick steamer fix. It was my first time in and was offered a hello ? I browsed their selection and I came across their little pre made items. I enjoyed their take on country shrimp wontons after following their instructions and adding some hot sauce it made my tastebuds want to say “awww fun !” My guy was hyper critical of the gumbo stating it was more of a soup, with big chunks of sausage rather than sliced uniformly, rather than a true gumbo but that didn’t stop him from eating it all. My boys loved the royal reds steamed up with old bay corn, potatoes, and onions. I was a bit confused when the handsome gentleman explained the portion of sides but I think that was a simple misunderstanding on my end. I wanted 2 portions of what I thought was a medley of corn potatoes and onions and lo and behold we only got two pieces of corn (hence two servings) ? lol. I would also critique their culinary prep as some of the potatoes weren’t washed thoroughly and we had one or two that didn’t steam all the way and some of the veins of the shrimp were still intact but we’re not scared of the good ol’ boy style. A good vibe where everyone was polite and friendly. Would go again.
My family was visiting from Tennessee and noticed Byrd’s Seafood Market when we arrived. We finally stopped by on our last day to order crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn for dinner. Our only regret was not getting their fresh and delicious seafood ALL week! All 4 of us said we would have rather eaten Byrd’s all week than the restaurants we went to. Definitely 10 out of 10!
Great seafood and obvious political affiliation of the owner posted near the door.
Always a great selection we always go for the shrimp and salmon, tuna

Everything (from customer service, cooking and packing our shrimp for travel, helping us decide what to order) was top notch and an all around perfect experience. Thank you to the Byrd family for all you do. We stayed in our travel trailer at Fred Gannon, Rocky Bayou, State Park, and this was one of our favorite places (and very convenient) for food. All the options! You can’t go wrong! Thank you from Tennessee. We can’t wait to come back.
Steamed Seafood is perfect. Cleanest seafood market we have shopped in. Family owned and operated.

Firstly, I commend your initiative in promoting fresh, locally-sourced seafood. However, I was disappointed to find that the purchase options for oysters were limited to bulk quantities. I had hoped to purchase a smaller amount, specifically two dozen, but was informed that only boxes of four or five dozen were available for sale. Offering a range of quantities would greatly enhance customer satisfaction and convenience.
Secondly, I encountered an issue at the point of sale where a tip was solicited via the payment system. This request for a gratuity, without a clear explanation or direct service to justify it, left me feeling obligated to tip.
I believe this practice can be perceived as an abuse of the tipping system and may inadvertently undermine the value of gratuities. Tipping should be a reward for exceptional and above service, and when it is expected without such service, it not only diminishes the gesture but also potentially harms other businesses that strive to provide a higher level of service deserving of such tips.
Do you tip the Sam’s Club or Publix Seafood guy? No…
