MUST GO! This is just outside Destin / Fort Walton Beach and knocked my socks off. This is the epitome of family owned, family run, and a family of loyal customers. Just amazing to see it all in action.Looks like a hole in the wall and it is, Which makes the hidden gem even better. The atmosphere, the people, locals, and the foooood! My entire experience was warm and welcoming.

The coffee was amazing. The food was just ok. Ordered an eggs Benedict and my eggs were overcooked to basically hard-boiled eggs. The service was great though. Very friendly.

Great location, great food, and great service! If you come here for breakfast, be ready to eat! The serving sizes are HUGE and absolutely delicious. The service was great even though they were really busy. Can’t beat the bay view either - we ate breakfast while watching dolphins play! We’ll be back for sure!!

Nice little breakfast spot, the servers bring a real loud unorganized vibe to the place. The food is good though. We go here when Blue Collar Cafe next door is closed, or the wait is too long.

Don’t waste your time. Very disappointed in the quality of food and cleanliness of the restaurant. I am blown away at the positive reviews for this place. I’ve had better food at other places for less money. I’d rather be at Waffle House than here

Love sitting outside having lunch. Food was good. So happy to see Karen was back on staff!! We had quit coming for awhile due to staff being disrespectful and bad service. Definitely be back! Go early for breakfast! They are open till 2, but stop breakfast before that.Kid-friendliness: Kids menuParking: Parking is very tightWheelchair accessibility: Parking lot has broken concrete. Steap stairs. Inside is very tight. One side does have flat sidewalk to the door.

We love this place! Literally every meal we eat here is delicious AND every single person there is so friendly!! We call it the strawberry cake restaurant. Today, Mr. George gave my daughter a shiny quarter for her savings and she was so excited! Moments & memories like that matter to us and makes it just such a special little place!

Nice little restaurant up from where we stayed. Food was good. Staff was very busy so their kindness seemed a little forced. Reminded me of my grandparents restaurant. The gentleman at the bar was very polite, he seemed truly happy to be there.

We went to the front porch for lunch. We didn't see anywhere that they stop serving breakfast around 1030, we wanted brunch. But the lunch menu was ok. It wasn't busy at all with maybe 5 tables all of which already had their food. But it took over 30 mins for us to get 2 sandwiches and 2 kids meals. The wait staff were not all that attentive and mainly talked loudly at the bar while they ate their own lunch. The "toasted" sandwiches came out toasted perfectly but were not hot so they must have been sitting for a while. There were a few other things that made us decide to never return to this restaurant.

This may be a little TMI but I want to make sure people know how great the people at the Front Porch are. After we had a very homey, southern-comfort, breakfast we were on our way out when I realized my 15-month-old had an accident in her high chair. Being a new mom, I felt absolutely terrible and offered to take the high chair to the bathroom and clean it while I cleaned up my daughter. The ladies on staff were unbelievably sweet and told me not to worry about it while also offering solutions for getting my baby cleaned up. I’m from a small town in NC and we were in the Niceville area for family vacation. All I can say is that the people at the Front Porch made this small town girl feel at home. Great food and great people❤️

First time eating here and was not impressed with the food. The servers were very friendly and prompt. Ordered pancakes and they were burnt and hard. Bacon was over cooked. My wife only ate half of her omelette. Really wanted to like this place seeing that we live in the area.

Don’t let the fact that’s it’s 2 to 3 $ steer you away from this place. The breakfast portions are huge! One of the best deals is the American heritage and I had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are to die for; good southern biscuits! The restaurant is at the top of the chart with the view of the bay; it’s just incredible. Many of the tables offer the view… Wait staff are all really good efficient and the tables are bussed quickly. The food arrives hot and ours was fast, too. In all, what more could you ask for?

It's a popular breakfast nook for sure. Menu offers plenty of breakfast favorites and some interesting new options. My granddaughter and my daughter joined me for breakfast, we had an omelet with veggies and potatoes, it was amazing! I saw the menu price at $9.45 which I thought was decent for an omelet, my daughter noticed the price on her menu and so we all agreed. When I checked out, my total was $61 and change! I was in a hurry and didn't realize it til I was gone, I called and spoke with Mr. George, he said it's $16.95 per omelet! Too expensive for breakfast, ask and verify before you leave.
