Chaz 51lists itself as a Steakhouse. I must start by saying that none of our party of 6 had steak. We all had fish which was good. And the prices are very reasonable, even for the steaks. Our only problem was the service was too fast. We were still eating our salads when the main courses came out. No one knew what to do with their salads. And there was no room to place the meals so the young man who brought the food just took all our salads away as he placed the main course dishes. There was no reason for that since the restaurant was only half full. I blame it on the kitchen, not the server, but someone needs to watch the timing.

Excellent food selection and the service was exemplary. We had the 6 inch filet and it is the best in the local area. Fo

The hostess, she said to call her The German, went out of her way to accommodate us and was extraordinarily sweet. Service was very good.Food was very good. We specifically came because my God Daughter wanted Beef Wellington. The dish was cooked well and had great flavor.French Onion soup was very good as well.

We heard some mixed reviews about Chaz 51 before coming. We decided that we were going to try it out. Upon walking in, we were pleasantly surprised with the ambiance. The menu is clean cut and simple. We came for steak, we ordered steak. The bread basket was warm ,simple white bread rolls. Nothing wrong with them, simple and classic. Salads came with our entrees , we both got Cesar. One had barley any cheese and the other had all the cheese. The lettuce was fresh and not overly dressed. The steaks were ordered medium rare and medium well. It is exactly how they arrived. The steaks lacked salt, and really did not have much flavor. I do not believe they had a chance to rest, as soon as we cut into them they immediately dried up.We ordered an additional sauce which was good but felt necessary instead of an enhancement to the meal. The broccoli was cooked well, and lacked salt. The baked potato was very good. I ordered it loaded. For dessert , we ordered a creme brûlée , which they light up at the table. The consistency was perfect, the flavor was a little off. It was still good. However, it had an overpowering vanilla extract flavor in the custard. Overall, from what I was told, Chaz 51 is a hit or miss. I will agree with this. There really wasn’t anything wrong specifically, however what they’re asking for financially does not make sense for what you get. It is very comparable to Longhorn or Outback for a fraction. For the prices, you can and will get the same quality at one of those two restaurants. It is called a steakhouse, however even comparing it to up north, the quality does not meet the standards. I don’t think I will be returning and I would not recommend Chaz 51 to friends.

Always a pleasure. I was sad we couldn't get something off the special menu. It was for the lounge only. Didn't understand that when we reserved bc family wanted to try the wellington. Also, not being able to substitute our salad was a bit frustrating. But, it's their rules.Steaks were all perfect. Service tends to be slow no matter when we go. So Def wouldn't bring the little one back, but babies and long sit-down meals are always a crapshoot.

The reason Chaz got a one review is the have a 0 rating. Here is my logic:1. The restaurant looks like a made over Chinese buffet restruant.2. The waitress did not ask if we needed to have the steak seasoned. The steak came out so salty that we had difficulty eating it. The chef needs to learn to cook without covering the food in salt.3. Really not a good cut of beef, there are better steak house in Venice Fl. Their reviews must have b÷n written by Chsz employee.4. Table service not the best.

We had Easter dinner last night at Chaz 51 Steakhouse and it could not have been nicer. The staff were super friendly. Our server, Michelle, has the perfect personality for the job. The food was delish. We both had the 6 oz filets, and they were cooked just the way we ordered them. They were tender and flavorful. The side of zucchini fries were out of this world! Crunchy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside with a spicy dipping sauce. Yum. We will return, maybe for the generous Happy Hour menu.Parking: The restaurant is in a large shopping mall with plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is in a large shopping mall with easy access.

The food was absolutely incredible. It took me 38 years to try French onion soup and it was fantastic. My husband and I went for our anniversary- that being said, because we were celebrating something they poured glitter on our table. It was craft glitter, which I know because the hostess put the jar on the table and poured it as we were being seated. We did get a free mini cheesecake for celebrating but with a $250 tab for 2 I think a foil lined dessert seemed a bit cheap.Service was very slow. It was hard to get anyone’s attention for water refills. Drinks took about a half hour to get to the table and larger parties that arrived at the same time or after us had food faster. From start to finish it was about 2.5 hours and we took the cheesecake to go. Our $99 steak that we shared had glitter on it that we had to pick off before eating and we were covered in glitter from holding hands across the table. My husband and I did have a great time, but service was slow and the glitter was unsanitary and unnecessary.

Salad and bread rolls. NY Strip cooked to perfection and vegetables. Ice cream for dessert. Prices are quite high for location, but step inside. Nice design. The serve staff was wonderful.

The best happy hour around! The bar staff Thursday night, Michele and the new trainee, Jason, I think was his name, were wonderful. And Chef Charles even accommodated my request for the ahi tuna appetizer with no peppercorns, thank u again Charles and wonderful to meet u. Chaz 51 is our new favorite!
