Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

This place used to be our go to pizza place but no more. We’ve placed three orders here in the past two months and each order has produced dismal overcooked dried out results. Most recently we tried the Detroit style pizza only to find out they forgot to put the sauce on. Seriously? To their credit when I called they did say if I brought the pizza back they’d give us a new one—but I didn’t have the energy for another 30 minute round trip drive to get dinner. We won’t be coming back.

Slow service only one worker. Would not recommend coming here ever.

I’d like to give them a minus 5 stars if possible. We ordered a simple pizza and they took more than 1.5 hours to make it. This was the second time it happened. I won’t be going here again!!!

Called in the pizza was told 15 minutes. I get there in 20 and waited for an hour once I was there.

Internet down so he said we had to pay cash ok we were good with that but then he.said he was out of detroit pizza and could not honor the internet prices. Was really rude to us. We only wanted to buy a pizza didn't need the attitude.

Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and cheesy bread. It got here an hour and a half later, which was fine but when we received our order the 2 garlic sauces we ordered was not there. Called the Hungry Howies and told the female that answered the phone and put me on hold and never picked back up. I then called back and a male answered the phone and I told him what happened, he then said we credited your account. I told him that we ordered the garlic butter sauce and we lived in walking distance to the location and would like what we ordered, he then said ok and hung up on me. I called back and the original female answered the phone and she said again that they credited my account and that they wasn’t coming back out to complete our order. I am not posting about their mistake but I am posting about the terrible customer service. I’ve ordered from here for years and know a lot of people around here. We will never order from here again. I SEE WHY YOUR SELLING THIS PLACE. I saw it on Facebook marketplace

This isn't paid for and I don't live in nokomis. I work down the road and I come in on wacky Wednesdays for the cheap pizza for lunch. Jason which is one of the most awesome people I've dealt with in the food industry! I don't know why this place doesn't have five stars but I guarantee you if you come in on a Wednesday and deal with Jason you're going to have a better day!!! My food is always good and the conversation is always good while waiting on it. I'm a blue collar worker and appreciate good work ethic no matter what job you work. Very much appreciate Jason 🙏💪

Just stood inside for 15 minutes. Was not even acknowledged over the wall. Did not life his head up once. Called the store even to see if while we were standing there he would answer or acknowledged that and still didn’t. Left without a single word or lifting his head to look.

It's alright pizza. Cheap and tastes pretty good

My wife and I did delivery order. The app was easy to navigate. We ordered pizza, wings and bread. It all done to our expectations. The pizza was well done but not burnt. Wings were crispy, very good. The bread had food flavor as well.
