Food was ok, but I ordered a pizza that comes with olives. I asked to eliminate the olives & add extra cheese in place of it. They charged me extra for the cheese?? To me. That's just greedy and shows no regard for accommodating your customers.

Pizza pizza pickup.
On one of our summer trips up to Nokomis beach this year we opted for a late evening pizza fix. Unfortunately, we had to pickup the order vs. delivery. Mama Leone’s had just changed names but not location so it was a bit confusing when we were looking for the pickup location. The food was fine and definitely satisfying but I cant really give it high marks. I can’t say much else about atmosphere etc. The service was good. They have a large pickup window as you approach the entrance. The staff was courteous and quick. We got what we wanted when we needed it.
In summary I give a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating (average for what it’s supposed to be).

Great Italian food. Have visited Mama Leone’s on a number of occasions and have never had a bad meal. New name of restaurant is Tuscany Nokomis. Come on down you will not be disappointed. Also try their early bird specials.

Went for dinner tonight. Very disappointed. We had eaten here previously and thought the food was good. I had veal parmigiana and my wife had eggplant. The tomato sauce tasted like tomato paste. My veal was not soft but tough. Normally veal is easy to cut. My wife thought the same about the sauce.
We won’t come back.

Despite the bad reviews we decided to try this restaurant. Beautiful building but the food was horrible and tasteless.
The most terrifying event was the owner seen rolling out a food cart and caught him wiping his nose with the back of his hand. After dinner my daughter and I both had gastrointestinal problems.
Never again.

My boyfriend and I love to go to Mama Leone’s. They have a very friendly staff and a real nice new owner. I am looking forward to the new building.

The service was quick and the takeout window made things super easy. Multiple people asked to help me, very attentive. The food was not what was expected. Eggplant parmesan had an odd taste to it and was very soggy. My fiancé's pizza was not great. The meatballs and sausage were not well flavored and the crust was not to his liking. Might give them a try again sometime but not in a hurry to do so.
