We ordered take out at 6:50 for pick up at 7:16. We arrived at 7:05 and food was ready and bagged. The food was cold and awful. The food seemed as if it had been sitting out for 2 days. Horrible! Will never go back!

Aug 1/2025..I don't know what happen to the cook or fresh food, but I won't be coming back..The friend pork rice was dark brown covered in soy sauce & no pork, except 2 tiny hard pieces of unknown
Substance, smelled horrible. The honey chicken was all bread, soaked in not appeared to be honey.. & this cost $10.
All tossed in garbage..
This place is in Publix shopping center on us 41 in Nokomis & Near Laurel Rd.

A family of 3 going to this restaurant based on the good reviews was a mistake. 3 stars were given for the service as it was acceptable. However 1 star each for atmosphere and food. Ordered 2 dinner combinations, side wontons. Wontons and egg rolls were very greasy. Dinner combinations unfortunately everything tasted like burnt oil and we didn't finish our meals as our stomachs started to feel upset. The atmosphere in the restaurant was extremely disappointing due to poor cleanliness. The table linens were visibly dirty, mold was present in the air vents, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. Based on what we saw, we didn’t even feel comfortable checking out the bathroom. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and unfortunately, this location did not meet it. We tried it, and will never return. We love supporting many, and I've never posted anything negative till now but honestly the owners need to truly do better for health reasons.

Best Chinese in town! I ordered online & tried the Shrimp with broccoli and fried rice. It’s delicious & hot when I got there to pick it up. I’ve also had the fried chicken wings before & those were amazing too! The only thing I will say is that the crab Rangoons are okay, they are tiny. Still giving them 9/10, thank you!

New China Restaurant is the best Chinese food in all of the Venice/Nokomis area. Their fried rice is the best by far and is authentic, not that yellow rice you get at every other New York style place in the area. Every dish I've had has been absolutely delicious. I recommend the Mongolian Beef and the House Special Fried Rice. The owners are always friendly and fast. You often see their children in the restaurant working on homework or pitching in to help out with orders. It's great.

Excellent strip mall take out Chinese restaurant with some booths for eating in. Food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Pork fried rice is very flavorful. Best in the area

I gave a star cause there was no option to leave less. 10 year old took our order. What I got was nothing resembling Mongolian beef. 2 pieces of beef and a lot of onions sauce was scorched. Added 2 egg rolls both were burnt. Every table in the place was filthy . Very sad excuse for a food establishment.
