Paya Thai is our Sunday tradition… it is that good! We do take out and have yet to eat inside. There is always a wait, but it is worth it.. the food is always hot and delicious! Highly recommend trying their Krab Rangoon, Tom Kha soup and Panang Curry.

Pad kra prow especially good, crispy duck noodles off the charts. Hot is pretty hot, which I appreciate. This restaurant is the real deal.

I'm a big fan of Paya Thai restaurant, where I can indulge in authentic Thai cuisine. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and the dishes are consistently flavorful and fresh. I usually opt for the tofu pad thai, which is expertly prepared and strikes a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors. The portion is generous and satisfying. I also enjoy their papaya salad, which is crunchy and refreshing. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere, adorned with Thai artifacts, adds to the pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend Paya Thai to anyone who appreciates Thai cuisine or is looking to try something new.

The food we had at Paya Thai was excellent. The service started off okay but as it got to about half an hour before closing time we felt more and more pressured to finish our meal . The waitress constantly passing by our table and taking my plate as soon as I had finished and bringing our bill/check while my wife was still eating, and we didn’t even have a chance to think about dessert. I thought maybe I should pay straight away and left the usual tip of between 10-12% that we are accustomed to leaving in the UK. She took the money and ask if we needed any change, to which I said no she can keep it. She walked off tutting and moaning to herself, she then returned and rather rudely asked if there was anything wrong with the service, to which I said no. She walked away in a huff. We left without my wife finishing her glass of wine. Why should we be made to feel pressured into leaving a tip of between 18-22%? She spoilt the evening for us unfortunately, as the food was really good.

Thai food is really good. They didn't cut back on the portions. I ordered 2 different dishes and was only able to eat 1. Cause I was full and it was a salad. Took the rest home. The satay was really good and tasted fresh. 2nd time there.

Best Thai food I have tried in the Sarasota - Venice area. Portions are great, flavor is so good and when you ask for hot, it's hot. Not the fanciest inside, but the food makes up for the atmosphere!! Great and friendly staff too! Wish they were on Uber Eats etc.

I was in Bradenton for a lacrosse tournament and stayed in Nokomis. We googled local venues and Paya Thai showed up. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! I like seafood and my daughter doesn't and there were many choices for us both. We started with the spring rolls with chicken. The basil inside gave great flavor! She had chicken pad Thai and I had green curry with shrimp. Her pad Thai was a large portion and had great flavor. My curry came and had a few shrimp in it. I was a little sad, but kept eating. The joke was on me, because under the abundant veggies were a whole mess of shrimp! The broth was piping hot and the Thai heat (medium) was on point. I ate the whole dang bowl since we had no fridge for leftovers. The service was great and we were attended to nicely. I'd go back if I was in the area again!
