I have been living in Venice full time for over 25 years and have visited POPs numerous times. The Tuna for lunch today was horrendous and very chewy and lacked taste on top of it all. I showed my server and at the end of the meal she brought the bill, which reflected the full price of the item. My friends at the table were so surprised that the server had the gall to even bring the bill to me for such a lousy meal. I asked for the manager (Kimberly) who did not identify herself and I had to ask a server for the manger’s name. Well Kimberly proceeded to belittle me in front of my friends and finally brought me a new bill at a 50% discount. I have to say I am highly disappointed that a Venice Chamber of Commerce Member would have such a lack of courtesy and customer service. Pop’s used to be good but their quality of food has been diminishing over the years.

Pops has a Key West vibe with Egrets instead of chickens! Good food with chefs flair! Right over the bridge from Nokomis beach. Multiple drinking and dining options in one location with live music can't be beat!
Parking: Off street parking a with friendly chauffeur golf cart to the front entrance. Arrive early.
Wheelchair accessibility: Widely spaced seating and open entrance with plenty of space to navigate. Frequent friendly golf cart chauffeur from nearby lot.

We enjoyed an anniversary dinner at Pop's Sunset Grill. Timing was perfect to watch the sunset. Wait was less than originally estimated. Ryan (our server) did an awesome job. Our food came out quickly and was delicious.

Great atmosphere, Great views, service was average. $10 for a kids meal is average. But my self and I had chicken and ( they had the kids meal, I had a chicken sandwich) for the price I think the chicken and frys were sub par. Would be hard pressed to come back. There are similar places with same atmosphere $30 cheaper and all around better food and service
