I decided last minute to have brunch at one of my favorite places on the water in Nokomis, Pop's. My server was Dana. All I can say is this was my best experience with a server at Pop's so far. Don't get me wrong, I have had many great experiences but Dana was wonderful. I needed to resolve an issue with my Pop's points from this weekend. She did this with ease and helped me with the app and link my payment to the app. In addition, I had some business to attend to in which she was able to manage around me and my calls. She also nailed my order. When I order I feel like it is an episode of "When Harry Met Sally" where she orders due to a dietary allergy. Everything came out perfect.

We live in Florida occasionally, and pops is a first choice for us, especially breakfast. We really like the egg sandwich and great coffee. Sigi was our waitress this AM, and was efficient and fast, and could not be better.

Unable to sit at 5 open seats at the outside bar that were being saved for friends of the bartender. She said it was her privilege to save seats.

In what favorite waterfront bar does the bartender put plastic cups on the bar ay happy hour. to save seats for her friends ? or family? At the busiest time on a holiday weekend my spouse and I arrived to find the last 4 seats left at the outside bar being reserved. When questioned I was told by an unfriendly girl behind tne bar that it was “ bartenders privilege”….with a look that told me there would be no discussion. My husband and I left and went to Paradise grill nearby where the food is better,prices are better and the seats are first come first serve as it is everywhere else we have ever been…and friendly bartenders with a smile.

Troy does such a great job behind the bar. He was flying solo while packed during Sunday night football and took great care of us all!!

We have been going to Pop's for 8 years. We go in season when it's packed beyond belief. We go in the summer when there are 10 people there. We love to go on Monday night when George and Drea are bartending and Audio Orchid is playing. The food is great. The drinks are great. We have never left Pop's and said "wish we went somewhere else".
