What a beautiful surprise we found today in search for dinner on the water. The cocktails were refreshing, dinner was delicious with a large variety to choose from, dessert was worth every calorie and the sunset water views was priceless. The service was superb with Sophie as our server. Great bands both inside and outside to compliment the relaxing ambiance. Will definitely be back!

Great food, perfect seating to get reunited with great friends. Perfect location by the intercoastal.
Very nice waitress. Food was okay but a little pricey, likely because of location. Place was sort of dumpy. Doesn't look like anything has been done to upkeep in years, where we waited and were seated. Parking was scarce and tight. It's nice they have a little gift shop.

Every time we are in Sarasota Pop's Sunset Grill is one of the restaurants we make a point to visit. It was a Friday night so it was busy.The hostesses were friendly and our wait was not too long. (You can make reservations which probably is the better option on weekends.) Once seated we were quickly greeted by our server Sophie C. She was delightful, efficient and attentive to us. We had the clam chowder and Caesar salad to start. The salad was fresh and the clam chowder creamy with ample filling. Our dinners were the coconut shrimp, lobster roll and mahi mahi dinner with salsa. Everyone was very pleased with the flavors and portion size of their meals. Kudos to Sophie for being a great server. She even thanked my Veteran server for his service and he received a military discount. Thank you!

Been going almost every week for a while now. Great food and atmosphere. There is usually live music on the weekends.
Wish I could give a 10 for food, it was that good!Jacob was the perfect server; pleasant, professional and with perfect guidance.Now we know Pop's didn't arrange this but we had a very special dolphin show on the Intercoastal.Perfect marks all around!!
